Hi Colleen! Yes, the hat does look like the one Red was wearing at the end of Anslo Garrick. And they are both wearing navy blue jackets. After your comment about seeing Red's head in the photos, I looked again. I see Cooper and the back of his head, but I still don't see Red.

The new longer promo I saw on Aly's site does show Red for a second or two, so I guess he will be in the episode briefly. I worried that my interest might wane in an episode with mostly Liz, but the new promo has me excited for it. I don't think we've seen her this badass or determined since Anslo Garrick.

Tuxie400 and Eastcoast - and the new, longer promo has Liz wielding a mean axe. Chopping into a tree stump. Apart from the other axe appearances in the series, didn't we just see someone do that recently, in the episode with the red barn and the guy who was still living back in the 1970s (LOL I'm traveling and don't have the ep info to hand.)

Anyway the axe makes another appearance.....

lara1 - I noticed that axe! So one in Cape May, one in the Travel Agency, and now Liz wielding one.

Tvguide.com has some photos of Liz and Scottie. I think we will have a most interesting scene with those two. Looks like it’s just the two,of them. I am guessing she will help Liz in her revenge quest.

I figure it’s a person that she will encounter and maybe even Garvey or Oleander or one of their minions.

It looks like Agnes has the same color changing hair as Masha Rostova. Just a few weeks ago she was a red-haired baby. But the new Agnes has brown hair.

HoneyWest - interesting observation. That would make sense. How they would find Liz is a mystery but it makes sense.

Tuxie400 - I am trying to remember when else in the series we saw axes. I remember the group discussed it sometime last season. Wasn't there one in Mato or in Esteban, when Liz was trying to escape the beach house with Agnes- wasn't there a wood pile or something that someone took an axe to? I remember the one that Tom had in Redemption but I'm not sure that one counts!

Yes I noticed that too. And Liz's hair has gone darker and straighter again. Which person is she this time around I wonder....

Tuxie400 - I also think Agnes now looks like Liz did in the photo that Kirk carried around. It (her hair) was dark and straight, as I think were the photos Red had of her. And the Masha of the Summer Palace memory Liz has. hmmm

I read somewhere, maybe it was here, that the new dog with Liz is named Kate. I'm not sure that isnt
a kind of fun play on words: Kate/Hudson. However, various dogs have wandered in and out of Liz's life, and the fact that there was a character named Kate, Liz's nanny no less.....MP theory lives (everywhere it seems, LOL).

lara1 - The info that the dog is named Kate came from the Screenspy preview that Brittany linked in this thread. The canine was described as a guard dog. I took it that this dog is another caretaker, like Kaplan, and hence the name. And I did think MP theory. LOL Kate/Hudson never occurred to me, but it's funny.

The Blacklist Exposed podcast is out with the Bokenkamp interview. He addresses the 2017 Cabal plot and some other dropped threads. The interview is a great Christmas present for fans.

Thanks Tuxie. Looks like it could be quite grim actually, but I'm interested to see what Megan does with it. And I think Liz finds out about why Tom was killed, maybe in this episode. So maybe we get some information too.

I did read somewhere that there was an advance showing of the episode to an audience in Kearney. And I've read from that, and elsewhere, that this episode turns the show in a different direction. That was also implied I think from what JB said in the Blacklist Exposed podcast. So I'm expecting a different show when it returns. Kind of like a reboot, but being faithful to the mythology. I'm intrigued where they are going with this.

Oh, there's a new sneak peek that mainly shows Liz in rehab.
although in the opening sequence she is chopping wood with an AXE and with her blue wool cap and blue jacket, does really look so much like Red when he goes on the run after Anslo Garrick.
And that was another revenge mission.
