Ryan Eggold had a picture of the cover of the script on his Instastory and it showed Ian Garvey (No.13) as the Blacklister. He also had a picture of Hisham reading on his phone, which Hisham reposted and said he was reading the script for 5.09 which makes me further believe we’ll get a 2 hour fall finale with Ian Garvey as the bad guy. I’m eager to see what his role is and what the suitcase mystery show (because surely this reveals something by then).

Yes, The Blacklisters tweeted a poster of all the Blacklisters up to Ian Garvey with the caption that we now had the last Blacklister of 2017. So, that would be the fall finale for sure. They didn’t indicate whether it was one or two hours, though, but maybe the Hisham photo shows that? Of course they could be working on the next episode after the hiatus. I think I read that they only actually take a break from shooting for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year’s. We have a longer break than they do.
Originally I thought we might miss more because of the Olympics but January has 5 Wednesdays and the Olympics only take up 2 in February so we might get quite a few before winter finale kicks in and then the spring block of episodes starts up. But I’m still hoping for a two hour fall finale because it sounds awesome.
Ryan posted a photo of himself beaten up today on instagram. I’d have to go back and look at the scene at the end of episode 1 to see what he is wearing but I wonder if it is that.

hmmm, hard to say. Ep 8 brings up right up the week before Thanksgiving. I think that's the traditional break for network TV - viewership is low the week of Thanksgiving and leading up to year end. That's not to say that the 15th Nov couldn't be a double episode though! that would be awesome if it happens.
They do film right through any season hiatus til April, with, as Honey West mentions, only a short break for Thanksgiving and then for the December holidays. The filming schedule also includes regular "in tandem" days, meaning the last day or two of filming of one episode, they are also filming the first day or two of the next. That could explain the double episode 8/9 mentions but really hard to tell - a double episode might be a nice surprise.
I read somewhere than NBC recently published its schedule for what is going to air when, I wonder if it was published with that? LOL I didn't think to check when I saw that!!!

They are on Twitter, but I don’t know who they are exactly.
If I would have read a little closer, I would have realized you said they tweeted, thus it is a twitter account. DUH. lol
Jonny Coyne is playing Garvey. I'm excited.
Synopsis for Ian Garvey.
FALL FINALE. When Tom (Ryan Eggold) goes missing, Liz (Megan Boone) desperately retraces his steps in order to find him. Meanwhile Red’s (James Spader) hunt for the suitcase of bones puts him on a collision course with Tom that will change everyone’s lives forever.
CHILLS!

Yikes!
Well, since I've always figured that Tom was sort of a parallel with Red, I wonder if the Dom/Red relationship is anything like the Red/Tom relationship? Perhaps Dom had some decisions to make about Red once upon a time.
who is “everyone”? The Reddington-Keen clan? Them plus the Task Force? Humanity itself? 😂
It’s only one hour but I think there is probably less distribution being on Wednesday nights now so not as much need for two hour episodes as when it was on Thursdays and preempted by sports and what-not.
