Spader and Bokenkamp are good with the vague answers.  But I felt like that answer just supported what Bokenkamp has been saying since the finale----that basically just because this question is answered that it doesn't take away from the mystery of the show because the why he came into her life is much more important and what is his agenda..  I think they never intended for the 'is he her father' question to be so huge that it got away from them a little.   I think they worry about people thinking the mystery is over and will stop watching.
