Season 5 episode titles

Looks like they have a name for 5.01 "Smokey Putnam". That sounds like a character from one of Reds childhood memory stories to me. LOL!

Sure does.

Re: Season 5 episode titles

Thank you HW!

So in E-1, he is wondering what to do and in E-2 HE is looking for help to ID the bones.  Sounds like a job for our old friend Dr. N.

I am going to guess he sees Liz finding some happiness feeling like she has some biological family and he wants to see how important these bones are before he burst her bubble.

So that probably wasn't Liz he was talking to or Dr. N.?

Re: Season 5 episode titles

Good questions, eastcoast! I saw some filming photos on Twitter this morning that show Red back in fedora and three piece suit. Rebuilding must be going well! I've lost track of what episodes they must be working on but I'm guessing around 5?

Re: Season 5 episode titles

I agree I think Nik is part of trying to figure out whose remains are in the suitcase.  I've been questioning if he was the source.  I guess he still could be.  Maybe he thought his role would be over once he directed Tom to the package and then Tom drags him back into it with needing help to identify who they could be.

Re: Season 5 episode titles

Since this is a spoiler thread I'll mention that in Aly's post on scenes filmed today, there is a video of a fake snow machine in front of a kind of old fashioned looking house.  There are children out but its hard to tell if its just neighborhood kids come to see what is happening or some kind of rehearsal prior to the real scene.

Of course with my obsession on Christmas themes, I am very intrigued!  LOL.

Re: Season 5 episode titles

Lara1, I saw one of the photos and there is a lemonade stand with balloons in front of the house with a man with a cup and a little kid on a bike who is wearing a helmet. Other kids seem to be playing on the lawn?

Re: Season 5 episode titles

HoneyWest - thanks, yes I saw that too in a later photo, and it looks like the season is summer.....  Kind of strange with the fake snow.  If its fake snow but don' tknow what else it could be.....Was hard to tell whether the kids were dressed in "current" or "retro" clothes....I thought maybe it was a weird flashback with mixed memories or something.  Thought I might see a girl with a bubble wand but didn't.  LOL Cant wait to find out!

Thanks for the heads up about the sneak peek.  It's hilarious!  I enjoyed the interviews as well.

Re: Season 5 episode titles

The sneak peak was so much fun! I can't imagine Red as a skip tracer without a car. LOL The new wardrobe and the ball cap do fit that line of work much better.

Re: Season 5 episode titles

Tuxie400 - yes - a skip tracer - kind of ironic given what we now know was Kaplan's background.  I wonder if that is how Red got his start to his criminal empire way back when.  Maybe not.

Here is a link to the preview. https://twitter.com/blacklisters_/status/908495898459680770
I hope it works. I loved Liz's "I can't believe this is happening." And Red's telling Liz to pack for a road trip because "I don't have a car."

Re: Season 5 episode titles

There's a new sneak peek with a combination of cast interviews and scenes from the first couple of episodes released by NBC. The season looks so fun!

"Now that's a nasty look that takes practice. You must have sisters!.

I like that they seem to be bringing back some of the fun. Spader is the Master of this sort of thing.

These promos are so funny! I am glad . They needed to bring back some humor.  The interviews are great too.

Re: Season 5 episode titles

My first thought that came to mind when I saw it was the scene on Redemption when Scottie was watching her home movies of Kevin on his bike and the Bd party.

I also was thinking about the houses it showed on the Requiem that were on fire.  I'm sure the scene they showed was from an old news clip somewhere and maybe this was what they felt was close enough.

Looks like a flashback of some kind.  I get the feel this is a flash back to Tom more than anything for some reason...

Could be where the fire was and showing Liz playing?

Would be interesting if Liz knew Tom back then.

Re: Season 5 episode titles

Eastcoast - I agree the humor was missing last season. Everything was so dire and serious throughout Season 4. I'm looking forward to seeing Spader capitalize on Red's unusual humor again. I think we'll see a much lighter Blacklist for the first four episodes, at least.
