Re: Evidence for the Imposter Theory

Lara - yes, I've often wondered if there wasn't something buried under the cut; what that might be I do not know. I just think the nature and structure of the scar is very odd. But, we know TBL is notorious for red herrings... so...... :-D

Patter, Tatiana - interesting thoughts on the burn scars.  It's good to know that the type of scarring had been discussed in the group.

On a related note, sort of the converse, that is why I don't think Liz's "burn scar" is a burn.  It looks to me more like a cut.  Which is why I was intrigued when someone recently mentioned that they thought Liz had something buried under the scar (shades of the courier).  Tatiana, I  think that was you - interesting idea.

And it's also been discussed that possibly her scar isn't related to fire night, but more of a branding burn. OUCH!  Idea of something being implanted is interesting. She could have been a prototype and in 2017 the Cabal would begin to manipulate governments and require the population to get this implant/tracking device. Like microchipping your dear sweet pup. ORRRRR, she is a robot? Is that how this ends? Mass override or program malfunction.

Re: Evidence for the Imposter Theory

Cracking up when the boardhost required me to check "I'm not a robot" after my last post! HAHAHAHAHAA!

HaHaHa!!!! Microchipping. Hey, Raymond already is microchipped, remember the pilot?
Patter, I love the way you think. Definitely out side of the box!  I know, there's an Elizabeth who is an animated robot, and an Elizabeth who is human, and Masha was the prototype!!!!
First place for most clever theory!

Re: Evidence for the Imposter Theory

Hasn't Red been chipped twice? I know Garrick had his first one removed, but didn't he have a second one after that? And does he still have it?

You know that first chip never made 100% sense to me. If he's turned himself in and will presumably be in custody, why chip him? Unless they knew from the beginning that he was never going to stay in custody, that's one reason why I think Cooper knows more than we think.

Re: Evidence for the Imposter Theory

I'm really looking forward to tonight. I hope that they leave us lots of meat to chew on over the summer.

Initially he was given an RFID chip at the beginning of the Pilot. It was useless. At the end of that episode, when he finally gets their attention with the "Blacklist" he gives them a list of demands, including a 'fully-encrypted' 8mm tag put in his neck and refers to the first one as garbage.

That's right! I forgot that he actually demanded the better chip. That was the one Garrick had removed. I guess he never got another one?

Re: Evidence for the Imposter Theory

Honey West, I wondered about that.  After Red demanding a strong, reliable chip, once it was removed by Garrick it was not replaced - at least as far as we knew.

Perhaps Red thought on reflection that the ability to track him had more downside than upside as his plan progressed.
