NBC Upfronts are today (May 15) and the Today show apparently has some coverage in the 9 and especially 10AM hours. Not sure if the NBC Upfronts start at 9:30 or 10:30 AM (I have read both so not sure which is correct)
We won't know if there is any TBL coverage specifically but I suppose later in the day any videos will start to surface.

TV virgin here: what does that even mean? NBC upfronts? TBL coverage? Can you explain to my untrained mind?

Each network (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) (and I believe cable has their own version too) will present their fall tv line up. So clips of new shows that will be airing, shuffling around schedules, special announcements regarding shows that are currently airing (maybe a shortened season 22 episodes to 13 episodes; guest stars or new cast members) or special events (holiday programming, interviews, musicals, olympics, superbowl....). I follow vulture.com and they do a pretty good job of summing things up for each network. I don't know if you watch This Is Us, but this time last year social media blew up with their 2-3 minute clip and it was on repeat for the whole summer, opening to a big audience when it premiered. Great strategy in the digital age.

I watched the first 30 mins of the 10am and they only showed a small clip of Jenna interviewing Jessica Biell on the blue carpet. Not sure what happened after 10:30
im actually on my way to the NBC upfront venue though I doubt I'll see anything. The blue carpet seems covered. But I'm 2 blocks away today so no harm in checking it out.

So I swung by the upfront but didn't see anyone I recognized! Lots of buzz, tons of trailers, black cars and security. But I guess you'd have to be lucky in timing to catch anyone or just wait around for a long time. Lots of people doing that but I couldn't.
Oh well maybe one day when I'm famous I'll actually be inside the venue! Lol. 😁
