One of the best 3 episodes in BL history. Too bad the s-runners didn't give us a payoff of Elise vs. Samar in mortal combat . . . . .she really morphed into a cat-woman fast, huh?
Red getting a flesh wound from Kirk on the roof - wonder if Liz is smart enough to scoop up some blood and run tests? What would she find?

Head still spinning - reading everyone's posts is a huge help - thank you :-)
Quack quack &$#@ - Aram really said that lol!
BBB - totally agree on the music - neat how the song was One (is the loneliness number) and for the most part we saw people together - like Kaplan and Mountain Man or Aram and Samar.

One other thought for the night.
Red clearly wanted to isolate Kirk and kill him not have him captured. He said to harold that if he didn't their work at the Post Office could not continue, and he looked towards Liz. Why? I think Red is concerned about Kirk revealing something and maybe not just to Liz. I also think part of the reason why he wanted to kill Kirk back in Season 3 was not just to avenge Liz's "death". I think Kirk may be dangerous for another reason....

Tabasko - I agree. The episode was excellent. For me, this was the best episode since the season premiere.
Colleen - I missed the piano too! You have a sharp eye.
BBB - You are right about the BL having the best funny lines in a drama.
Liz used her superpower - profiling - to get Agnes back. Now if she would just use it more effectively on Red.
I can't believe they put Kirk in the box! I wasn't expecting that.

I'm confused, as well, and given that it's been a long week, I'll hold off on extensive commenting until I've seen the episode again.
What's significant to me at the moment: Red told Harold that Kirk wasn't even on the list until he came after Liz.
And I don't think Liz's mom is dead.

Bed for me - need to sleep on this like everyone else and then re-read what everyone said - thank you all for such a fun Thursday night, as always :-)

Tuxie400 - Kirk in the box - mirror images again of Red! and didn't the frame of the box look white?
Red and white - color theme running through the series.......hmmmm

Iowa Watcher #65 - good point. So, he wasn't previously a "bad" guy? yet he was a threat to Liz, no?
Makes me wonder about the nature of the blacklist and what it represents. maybe its not what we thought in terms of Red's endgame. Or was it simply that Kirk was not on the list because as long as Liz was hidden from him, she was not in danger?
food for thought! but time to sleep now!

Just a few random thoughts...
I don't think Aram has it In him to hurt a woman. I was surprised he hit her at all.
I think Liz and Red made that plan because he was saying she left 10 minutes before them.....
Kirk said , This man, he took your mother away from us and he took you from me. Maybe he was the one she ran off with?
How about that look of shock about the DNA report?

eastcoast #69 in a very round about way this kind of leads back to Red possibly being the father.
Liz was not Kirk's to raise; Kirk "cannot have" Agnes....interesting words. and east coast, those words you note, Red took Katarina away and took Liz away. So maybe Katarina did run off with Raymond. And maybe he was the "American".
Maybe that is what Red is worried about, that Liz will figure out the full truth ....or something! LOL

And poor Kate! I figured he was going to go get a camera.
I really am thinking that Cooper knew Red was going to turn himself in.
My thoughts are going a mile a minute after this one! lol

lara1, that is what I am thinking. I think Red had the report put in there.

Probably his with Kirks name, lol

BBB,
I really thought we were going to get to see Samar let her have it! oh well....

Eastcoast, I have wondered that about Harold from time to time. That he knew more than he let on.
The way he spoke to Red in the Post Office after Liz "died". Like he had a deeper understanding of what Red was going through.
I think Red had to have someone in the FBI in order to coordinate the day of turning himself in to the first start day for Liz. He had to have someone let him know that. It doesn't have to be Harold, but he's an option. and someone had ordered the Red "file" about two months before he turned himself in if I remember correctly
OK signing off, before I write something crazy! LOL

lara1 - Yes, you are right about the mirror images of Red and Kirk in the box. The frame of the box did look white. Wasn't it always red before?
Did anyone else think that baby Kirk gave Liz did not look like the Agnes from Ep. 1? Has there been a baby switch, or do we just have a new baby actress. If there was a baby switch that would mirror a theory some of us have espoused that Liz was switched with Masha.

Tuxie400 - glad that you mentioned that about the baby. it does look like a different baby to me as well. I thought maybe they had to substitute the baby (in real life) for some reason. At least, I'm hoping that Liz would recognize if it were not her child!
but it does look like a different baby, even from ep 4.01....
Edited to add: but yes it would be cool if it were a switch, a mirror image and maybe a mirror image of Liz/Masha switch (if there was one).
Which I'm thinking may be an answer to the confusion. So Kirk is really Masha's father in this episode.....but LIz is not Masha. Maybe that is what Red is worried about as the thing that might be pieced together.....
we certainly have more questions than answers!

I think Aram's self-survival mode kicked in after he realized Elise wasn't there for banana time! However, he was no match for a trained martial artist - despite his size advantage!

And....maybe the mirror images of Red/Kirk which have been intensifying incrementally all season do relate back to the Liz/Masha/Liz/Masha/fathers thing......What I mean is, each thinks he is the father of "masha" and the reality is that Kirk really is the father of "Masha" but only Red knows that Liz is not Masha.....and wild theory.....Liz may really be Red's daughter, (but Masha never was)...
OK enough wild theories for tonight,, LOL!!
