I thought this might get lost on the Philomena thread so posting here
Anyone notice the use of green in the past few episodes?
I got to thinking about this with Kate's new glasses, which are green
In the Apothecary, Red drives a dark green car to what turns out to be Becky's house. I think that was also the car that was used by Dembe to drive Red to the ICU.?
The car that Philomena was driving when she was found and apprehended ( and used to drive Marvin to Kaplan) was also dark green
We have the computer and TV screens in Requiem which are bright green. And in the hotel room scene with little Liz and KAte, in the Aladdin cartoon, the Mr Magoo - like figure wears a bright green coat. (incidentally, that figure with his hat and glasses reminds me of Red lol)
I think if we look back we'll find more instances of green since around Episode 4.14.
Not sure what it means - the only thing i have come up with is green=envy/jealousy ; and its one of the Christmas "colors"
It seems to be associated with things Kate has done or is doing.
Any thoughts?

One other meaning i thought of for green - a person can be referred to as "green" if they are lacking knowledge or experience about something

Very observant Lara1! Green is also associated with envy or greed.

Well Colleen, I noticed the glasses first, because on a personal level, I love colored frames - I have a purple pair and a red pair (natch - lol) though they are sunglasses and truth to tell I really like the ones that Kaplan is now sporting! Lol
Then I started to pick up on other green items. Will continue the hunt!

Well I just wrote a long comment about how the color green is prevalent in The Architect. I will try to recapture it, LOL
When Aram arrives at the Black Mass site, the wall of windows behind him is bathed in that bright green color like we saw on the TV and computer screens in Kaplan's memory in Requiem.
Then, when the Architect is having the hackers try to hack the grid, he is completely bathed in the color as well - the whole scene is.
Its interesting that Aram/computer expertise scenes featured the same color we saw in computers/technology screens in Requiem. Which may mean nothing. But what if Aram is somehow connected in an unexpected way to what is happening. hmmm Could be just a cool color! I guess we'll find out one way or another, soon.
oh I just found the comment! I put it in the wrong section. I will remove it from there. LOL

One thing that I always found puzzling, was the deal where Red's WANTED poster says that he has green eyes, when he most certainly has blue.
