    As pointed out Warner Bros. produced the series - CBS only provided air-time and felt they could use their air to make more money than POI was generating.
    It was a seminal series in how procedural fare can be transitioned into hi-minded sc-fi. I don't get excited about much in the way of TV fare these days so for me to say it was the greatest TV series of all-time does not ring softly.
