Losing the Redemption and Blacklist gigs might not be all that bad for Mr. Eggold. Bad for us super-fans, yet but not for the talented young actor.
When he first popped onto the screens as Lizzie's deceitful hubby (and Red plant) I must admit I didn't see him in more advanced roles. A serviceable actor, but dime a dozen in Hollywood.
Now after a few seasons of doing a variety of work I see him as ready to breach sacred Hollywood territory - territory currently occupied by the other two Ryans - Ryan Gosling & Ryan Reynolds.
With the right film project I could see him reaching higher heights than either of the other big Ryans. But getting hooked by just any casting mongrel might lead to disappointment. His next project had better be super big - otherwise he'll be sentenced to guest-villain roles on Criminal Minds or guest-hosting on Morning network TV.

BBB - I have to agree. I've re watched more of TBL and I think he's better than your average bear when it comes to talent. He is indeed talented. Personally, for the Blacklist storyline, carrying on for so long was not good, but to showcase his abilities was. For him, I hope he does get noticed and is able to get into some big roles.
When I first started watching TBL, he just creeped me out! He was too nice LOL. Tells you a lot about what kind of dating path I went down!

Explosive revelation there Tatiana - but funny - in an odd, demented way! lol
You dated Eddy Haskell, huh? lol

I managed to get a ticket to see Ryan's new film at the Tribeca Film Festival.
the first day that tickets went on sale to the public, most of the times/dates were RUSH only as they'd sold out. they recently added another time and date and so I now have a ticket.
Will let you know how it goes.
Congratulations to Ryan on the Tribeca acceptance for his film!
