Creepy Blacklister?

Just saw on alyblacklist that David Dean Botrell will be in an episode, possibly 20 or 21. If he's the Blacklister he will be good and creepy. He played Lincoln Meyer in several episodes of Boston Legal, one of the creepiest bad guys they ever had, IMHO.

Re: Creepy Blacklister?

I can't wait!!!! And it sounds like he definitely filmed with James Spader.

When all this is done and over, hubby and I will have to get the Boston Legal DVDs out and savor

Re: Creepy Blacklister?

Its great that they have cast someone from Boston Legal - I've been hoping for that for a while.

He was great in the role so I'm looking forward to see what type of character he plays in TBL.

Re: Creepy Blacklister?

I just re-read this and noted that David Dean Botrell took the photo while walking on the High Line.  This is one of my favorite spots in NYC, and whenever I am in that neighborhood, I try to do a detour and walk along the High Line.

For those not familiar, the High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side, running along the Hudson River. So its kind of like a park with gardens and an outdoor museum in one.  A section of disused elevated industrial rail track was preserved and landscaped - it runs mainly through the Chelsea and meatpacking districts and terminates at the point where the Whitney Museum is now located.  The gardens change with the seasons, and there is artwork, and vantage points too., as well as some industrial architectural relics.

The rail line used to run across streets (elevated) and actually ran directly into some buildings so that deliveries could be offloaded directly into the buildings in this formerly industrial area of Manhattan.  The High Line railway was decommissioned when trucking took the place of the railways for much transportation of raw materials.

The entire railway was slated to be torn down, but a group of preservationists banded together and successfully fought for preservation of a roughly 25 block section of it.

I attach a link to the Friends of the High Line website.  About/overiew will give some history; Visit/park features gives some interesting views.

sorry I’ve gone on a bit!, but I do love walking along this way and do this at least once a week….

Re: Creepy Blacklister?

Further to #5, I was just on The Blacklist Exposed website and someone there posted a documentary on The High Line from the museums series - for those interested in knowing more, I can recommend it.  It was posted to You Tube and runs just under an hour.  I had actually seen it previously, and it is very good, IMO

Re: Creepy Blacklister?

Thanks for the High Line info, lara1! I saw something on tv awhile back about that. Maybe it was the Pbs thing? It was pretty interesting how it was saved.
