New JB interview discussing Season 4 developments, on The Blacklist Exposed podcast. I have not yet listened to it, but his Blacklist Exposed interviews are usually interesting.Posting for those who would like to listen.

Listening to it right now.
He says they have a lot of material to keep the show going for as long as the network will allow it.
Hey they asked Jon about Jennifer and he said, well Jennifer is part of the story. The interviewers said everyone is talking about Jennifer and Jon said who is talking aobut her? Fandom (yes we are!!!)
They also said you know there's a lot of multiple names for one person, so Elise/Janet as Jennifer.
So he didn't tip his hat but you know what, he didn't have that OMG reaction to the idea like he did when they asked him about the Red is Katarina theory in a podcast a while ago. He clearly thought that was a very far stretch.
He did say it's difficult to retroactively tell a story, so if you start a story and you include a character, say Jennifer, you may have an audience saying, who are they talking about?
Oh, he's also telling a story of how they hired a professional FBI profiler as a consultant who's last name was Ressler and that's where Donald got his name :-)
Dozed off a bit..
They're finished up episode 8 for Redemption.
Really big fun stuff for April 20th when The Blacklist returned
It was a really good interview, I'd listen to it again.
Commentators - bringing up Jennifer wanting to see where it goes.
April 22nd in Chicago $70 for the weekends or $40 for just Saturday. Comicon in Chicago. Wow, I'm so tempted to go.... I haven't been a groupie in a very very very long time LOL!

I was excited that Aaron and Troy did ask Bokenkamp bout Elise/Jennifer. At least he said Jennifer is still out there in the Blacklist landscape, and he didn't say the idea was totally ridiculous. I always enjoy hearing Bokenkamp masterfully avoid giving answers.

This was my favorite Bokemkamp quote: "Things you can read both ways are things I love."
He said the two-parter when we come back with be Dembe centered, feature bees, and will be heavy on mythology. Sounds like it will be buzz-worthy!

Tatiana - thanks so much for the summary! Not sure when I can listen to the interview, so its great to get a preview!
Tuxie400 #4 - so true! and now we should get busy (no pun intended!) typing to figure out bee symbolism....

Here's the exact Bokenkamp quote about Jennifer:
Jennifer is a real character within the universe. She was referenced in season 2, you know Naomi Hyland, one of the things that is difficult is to tell an episode that it does not feel like is going backwards you know; sometimes it feels like we are going to tell a story, and we’re like “oh this will be great and we will tell the story and unless its the people who are really avid viewers of the show, somebody else watching might feel like, what are they talking about? who is that? who is Jennifer? what is that? but the truth is yes, Jennifer is a character who is in the landscape of the show and Elise, not saying that Jennifer is Elise, but you have not seen the last of Elise/Janet, but yeah, Jennifer is out there. Jennifer, to be discovered one day "

I found this to be a very good interview. Whets my appetite even more. If any of you can, I'd encourage you to listen to it!
I don't know if it's this interview or some different info I read, but I read/heard from another source that the 2 hour return may be one episode and the series may run through June.
I was half dozing last night during the interview. Have a sick husband so things are a bit out of place :-)

Tuxie400 #6 - well I guess that could go either way! interesting though that its quite a lengthy answer!

lara1 - It was a pretty long answer. If there were no plans to ever use Jennifer as a character, I think he would have just said, "There are no plans to bring Jennifer back."

I had a chance to listen to this last night. Its interesting to listen to what thoughts JB has and what seems to be driving the current season. We are never going to get definitive answers, I don't think, but that doesn't bother me. Just my own opinion. I'd rather just watch and see or guess! LOL
I'm also excited to hear that the episode when we come back will be Dembe-centric. So a Dembe-centric episode followed by a Kaplan back story. I feel that this is really building up to an intense back end of season.
Tuxie400 #9 - yes I thought that too! Jennifer was there for a purpose, which we don't know yet. (Maybe we will find out soon, LOL!)
