Tom's look was indeed priceless - never seen that before from him!

Tawny (Nez) might have the coldest eyes I've ever seen on an actress. That's priceless, too!!! lol

I love the actors, love their origins, Eddy is amazing, Tom is powering up. Famke is Famke - much better than I thought and The Fat Kid is solid. Tawny much better than I thought.
They'll get their 8 eps and be morphed back into TBL (if it survives). Just that the writing is sub-par, the premise is shaky and the tension is missing.
Might be better as an offshoot of "Get Smart" w/ Tom as Maxwell, Famke as 99 . . . .

BBB - I absolutely agree. Premise very shaky, and yes, I don't feel any tension either. Plus the bit with the kingpin wanting a recording contract for his daughter was just a bit dumb. Fell flat for me apart from Tom's expression -

Actually, Eddy might be a better Maxwell Smart. Tom could play Siegfried - or if he Trumpitizes his hair could be "Chief"

That 2nd last scene was absolutely stunning - 40 minutes of mediocre writing and aimless direction and Redemption finds itself. . . . . . what a sad conclusion w/ Kevin but that's what a great show can do - - - RIP OUR HEARTS OUT!
Only inconsistency is Solomon and Nez showing far too much humanity!
