So far two actresses are listed on IMDB for 4.16:
Annie Heise - Elise/Janet
Laura Aguinaga - only listed as garment worker
I went to her FB page and she showed a picture of her carrying a gun and in a trenchcoat ... with blood spatter on the wall behind her. Sounds like the Blacklist to me!

Yes, I saw that when I came up with the Elise/Janet is Jennifer theory. I think Aguinaga is likely just a garment worker in the episode.

I'm not so sure about that. She has photos of herself in a long leather trench coat with gun in hand. Another shows her with blood on her lip and blood splatter behind her. Pretty sure she has some live action.

The one with the trenchcoat looks like a promotional photo an actress who wants action parts might have taken. I don't know what to think about the one with the bloody gunshot wound next to her head.

Well, lots can happen in 4.16, it's a two hour episode.
Offline
Honey West - Do you know for sure that 16 is two hours? I was thinking 16 and 17 might run on the same night.

Tuxie - I tweeted Blacklist and Blacklist writers asking that question this morning but have not received a response, ie. is the two hour episode two separate episodes or one episode that lasts for two hours. I'm new to twitter so maybe I needed to ask a bunch of people. Or maybe they don't want us to know :-)

Weird. Now that I look back at that actresses site, the link is broken. Am I seeing things???

Hey Tatiana - the larger post with the actress in the leather trench coat (the longer link) still works.
However, the other link no longer pulls up the couple of different photos of her that you mentioned (I looked briefly earlier). not sure if they were removed or maybe just further down the page somewhere......

On the April 23 2 hour return, I'm not sure but I thought they were airing 2 episodes back to back. Although one 2 hour episode might be more interesting.
I only think that because I've heard that there are 7 more episodes to air, yet I think the last one airs in late May. So if that's the case, they would need 2 to air on april 23. Unless they finale is going to be 2 episodes.
LOL I really have no idea! haha

Yeah, and I can't remember what I read or where I read it! LOL!

AlyBlacklist responded to my question:
"As far as I know it is two separate episodes, 4.16 and 4.17, airing back to back."
This is when TBL returns on April 20th so it will start one hour earlier than usual.

Thanks Tatiana, Aly knows all!
Also - re the stunt doubles for Red and for Kaplan - that sounds like it will be an exciting episode! Has me a little worried though - but those stunt doubles will not necessarily be both in the same scene; or, if they are, they could both be on the same "side".
I really like Mr. Kaplan as a character - strong, focused female character - so I hope she is here to stay, and they don't make her out to be the traitor attacking Red, but someone strong and wise enough to rise above it and make a difference. (Wow that sounded profound for nearly midnight!)

Good to know! I just need to make sure the DVR gets both of them, since I may be working evenings by then.
I hope they work things out with Mr. Kaplan, because I really think she is still loyal to Red. And that Dembe doesn't meet an untimely end. People have said that they haven't seen Hisham on set lately, but that could be for strategic reasons. If he survives they can't let him be seen because then we'd know and they'd lose an important upcoming plot point. But back to 16 & 17, it sounds like a LOT is going to be happening.

Honey West #15 - I agree re Hisham. And whatever was being filmed in the restaurant - it was totally covered up so no passersby could possibly see inside or what was happening or who was there.
Or it might just be that he's underground across a few episodes. They were filming episode 18 I think this week, so anything with the Red/Kaplan stunt doubles isn't til then it seems.
At least we may get flashbacks in 17!
Anyway I think the rest of the season is going to have us all gripped!

My current thoughts are that the flashback stuff might be that Red is finally realizing he has to tell Liz something about the past. John Eisendrath said that whether Red lived or not wasn't important, it was what he thought about when he thought he was dying. Or something like that. And unless the true story is really tied up to the series finale, then I think it's time that they took care of it and moved on to the real story again. They need to get Liz and Red back into a closer relationship, whatever it is. That was always a big strength of the stories, not whether Red was her father, but them trying to work together. That dynamic was always the core, and it's been missing for quite some time. And I still think it's because of the unresolved Liz's faked death issue.

Yes Honey West! The Red/Liz dynamic has been so strained this season, and it definitely was the draw of the show. Something needs to happen soon to rectify that. But I'm wondering if the flashbacks won't be Kaplan's.
Offline
Yes, totally agree with both of you, HW and Tuxie400! I added some thoughts about Red telling Liz something as a parallel (or maybe mirror image) to the end of Anslo Garrick, under the thread Tatiana started on Season 1/4 similarities....
But yes something major has to happen to throw those 2 back together, their dynamic is the heart and strength of the show

As I said on the other thread, suppose Kate's return is to help or save Dembe rather than Red. Then I had another thought. Suppose lara1 is right and Red does end up killing Dembe, who of course is innocent, but it's to really isolate and torment Red. Maybe Kate's return might be to avenge the innocent Dembe. I really don't think she would get revenge for what he did to her, she even told Tom that he was only going to do what he had to do. And I think he was just as angry at her for forcing him to do it as he was with what she did. She was resigned to her fate, but wasn't "going to make it easy for him." So would she come back for Dembe? I wonder.
