And Red is in his Bethesda flat in at least one photo. If he's talking to Marvin it may be that he's putting his affairs in order, just in case. I couldn't tell where he and Marvin were, maybe his flat? Some blurry person in the background that I couldn't make out.
Since this is in Spoilers:
My Crazy Cliffhanger Prediction (gotta have at least one, right?): Red has the Task Force so ticked off at him that even when they find the antidote they consider not helping him. Liz is forced to say to either Ressler or Cooper, probably Ressler: "We have to, he's my father." Da-dah!

HW - now that would be major cliffhanger! LOL

LOL, I was looking at the original set of photos! Yes, that does look like Marvin in the newer set.
Well, I guess if Red is poisoned, and they are maybe not sure there will be an antidote, he may be getting his "last affairs" in order. So maybe that will show us a major reveal! YAY
Thanks for pointing that out - you guys are great.

Honey West & Lara - I was sure that was the Bethesda 'flat' but then I thought I confused it with Liz's apartment.
I did see what appeared to be a world map, it was very dark with points of light in different colors, mostly dark and muted. I don't remember if that was from The Architect or the Apothecary. Initially I thought it was the Map of Doom from Red's apartment, but then I thought maybe it was from Brent Spinter's The Architect... there were lots of blinking servers around him.
Do either of you know what I'm talking about? Mostly I've been looking at spoilers on AlyBlacklist but I"ve been skimming the whole internet lately!

HI Tatiana - I think the first two photos of the "new" set for the Apolthecary are in Red's flat. I think the brick wall is the one behind the desk, and I think that's part of the desk we see behind Red. Then, the brownish-leather chair that Red sits on in the next photo I think is in the flat also. If I'm not mistaken that chair may be either in front of the fireplace or the one that is under the sort of opening to the kitchen, but I'd have to go back and look.
I don't remember seeing the Map of Doom. I will go back to the Architect photos and check - as i seem to be missing little details lately! LOL

LOL! My "crazy prediction" is also based on them saying we would get a major reveal later on in the season. That would be pretty major, I suppose. Unless it's that Kate will swoop in at the last moment and save him. I really hope that she is not the one behind what's been going on, though, that would be far too predictable and rather disappointing.
It's Red's flat in the photos because you can just barely make out the photo of the mustachioed man in the uniform in the background that is next to Liz's graduation photo. Plus I looked at some old screen caps of the flat the other day. It's always nice to see Marvin Gerard, but this is probably not a good omen. Then again, maybe he hasn't updated his will to reflect the birth of Agnes yet and figures he'd better do that now.
I do really think that Liz has figured out the truth about Red, though, and is biding her time and gathering more information before she confronts him about it again. She has to be ready to blow off his sidestepping and denials this time. And I think it explains her reaction to Kaplan's fate, why she didn't blow up and stomp off, but sort of used it to put him off balance. She's becoming more his equal at playing games. Besides all that, come on, why else would he do what he does for her? A virtual stranger who breezes (more like a hurricane) into her life out of nowhere willing kill for her and to die for her? Besides Tom, of course. She must know. Whether she has proof or not? That's the question.

Yes, I saw the photo with the back of Fisher Steven's head. I wonder why Marvin Gerard would be on. Surely he isn't the associate betraying Red, is he?

Intersting Tuxie400! he might have the inside knowledge to do so....
But maybe he doesn't have a motive. Red has treated him very well. But you never know what we don't know! LOL!

Lara - my mistake. The "map" I saw was from the Redemption preview. There's a world map in black with landmass covered in colored points of light.

Decided to put this in Spoilers but didn't want to start a new thread. LOL! But according to alyblacklist it appears that Glen will be back around episode 17. Yay! And also other comments there seem to indicate that they are currently filming 17, so that means they would be working either 16/17 or 17/18 right now. They are really not that far ahead, and if they have weather delays the 8 week hiatus might just be what they need to stay on schedule to finish the season on schedule.
Also looks like Lotte Verbeek will make another appearance maybe in 17. A snowy shoot for 17, that's for sure! It occurred to me that they could be doing a flashback to her supposed suicide because as far as we can tell that possibly happened in the winter months, maybe even in a February or March, if two months after the fire.
Anyway, whatever they have planned, I think The Apothecary will plant the seeds for what's to come.
Incidentally, I checked and they announced the season 4 renewal in December 2015. JB said at the time that they had known they were renewed for weeks before that. So I am thinking that they already must know if they have a season 5 or not.

Honey West, funny I was just thinking the exact same thing about Season 5. I think they know whether or not they are renewed, whether or not the network has made an announcement. I think last year the announcement went public earlier than originally planned - but in any case, I hope we hear soon!
That's a great thought about filming in the snow and Lotte. Yes, I think Katerina was supposed to have committed suicide in February so that would be good timing! And from what I understand they are filming in Bayville, which is a coastal community on Long Island's North Shore, and it looked like something called The Tides motel, looked like it could be made to look retro-ish.....we'll see!! I wonder if they will also film back where they filmed Cape May last year - I understand that was filmed in a location on the South Shore of Long island, which is oceanfront.
Very excited for the rest of the season (can you tell?!!! haha)

Honey and Lara - we did get a very early notice of renewal last year, I think that's somewhat unusual. But I also think that they knew they had to renew because they had not finished the series: Megan Boone was pregnant and delivered close to the end of their shooting. They had yet to 'close up' the story line. Plus, there was a lot of excitement about a spin off with 'Tom'. And their ratings were still pretty good.
The announcement for this year will probably come much later. First, the ratings are going down. Yes, there's a lot of DVR viewers, etc. but that market doesn't attract advertisers. So the networks really want to go with live or three hours after airing.
In the interview today, James Spader said that Red is feeling like there's death all around him and that the end is near (I'm paraphrasing) and then he added, "Or not". So he's keeping us on tenterhooks.
Lastly, I noticed that Megan Boone has not returned to her slim wardrobe. She's lost all her pregnancy weight, but they have her wearing loose blouses, open jackets, and big scarves. I don't know if she's just self-conscious or if she's planning to add to her family right away. Just an observation.
The Grim Reaper has a pretty good average for predictions and he says TBL is more likely to be renewed than cancelled for the 16-17 year.
We can hope :-)

Almost forgot: Spader says he ends up in prison (on the show) which is another way to spiral downwards.

Refresh my memory. When did he say he was going to prison on the show? I know today he said (during the commercial break where we didn't actually hear it) that he was going to a prison and that Jamie Alexander said she was going to film a fight scene after they left the Today show.
Did he say that at a different time? I think I missed that.

Honey West - During the interview this morning on the Today Show, they shared that during the commercial break Jamie said, I'm going to a filming for a fight scene and James said he was going to a prison on Staten Island. It was recounted as what each actor was doing after the Today Show..
Since the actual exchange happened during commercial break, I don't think that James really wanted them to recount it on air.

Some shows wait to announce the first week or second week of May during the "upfronts". You will see TV sites beginning to discuss this March-May as they compile listings of what's renewed, delayed, shortened season, moved to a new night/timeslot, or the dreaded cancelled. With that said, S4 was announced in December of 2015 according to wiki.

That's what I thought you meant. And if you look at him while she's saying that I kind of got the idea that he maybe didn't want her to say it on the air, but it was too late. Either he didn't want the shooting location leaked or that it was a prison. If it's an in-use prison that might be for security reasons. I am not familiar with it so I don't know. However, many years ago I was working on a segment for America's Most Wanted and we shot a couple of scenes in a local correctional facility where the fugitive had done time. Security was a huge deal for the film crew and the prisoners themselves. While we were there they had a lockdown when they were missing one of the prisoners after they came in from the exercise yard. Turns out she hadn't been counted going out because she stayed in her cell in bed. But because they didn't add up, we were stuck there unable to film or do anything until they figured it out. Glad they have security, though!

Honey West you have the most wonderful life stories! :-)
Well, good, if we both took it the same way (Today Show, prison) then we can agree Spader did not want that to be revealed. I'm so looking forward to tonight's show!

HW, that is a fascinating story! Thanks for sharing.
Someone posted yesterday that they were filming around the Arthur Kill facility on Staten Island in NY. Fun fact - The facility was sold a while back to a production company, and it was slated for development into sound stages, but I think that was put on hold and I'm not sure that has ever happened. So its probably still standing as a prison facility. I'm not sure whether it is still in use in that capacity.

I think that's why I can relate to Red's stories. LOL! I was just fortunate to have had the opportunity to "run away and join the circus" for a time. Not the actual circus, of course! Although at the time there was a job opening advertised for someone to teach makeup at the RB,B&B Circus clown school in Florida. My dream was to go to work for Stan Winston. I wanted to build creatures, not clowns!
