Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Ah.  This format looks familiar.  Bringing it back, old school.  ^-^  Also, it somehow seems appropriate--like we've gone underground, somehow; like we're working covertly with the FBI, if you will.  ::winks::

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Welcome, deadskie13! Glad to see more of our refugees showing up all the time!

Tatiana and lara1 - I was thinking the shirtless one might be Aram, since one of the Johns, I think it was, hinted that Amir was ripped and would look good without a shirt. But if it's not, then maybe they are finally going to re-visit those mysterious scars of Red's.

deadskie13 - welcome!  nice to see you

Honey West #42 - yes, that's a point. With Aram and his new friend  maybe there is a scene.  I wonder if she is a plant.  Or maybe Red set them up.  LOL   by the way, thank you so much for being one of the moderators of the site!!

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Hi everyone!

Many thanks to all who set up and are running the Refugee site!!!

I was Timetraveler on the old page, but decided to use a different name this time. Years ago there was a wonderful Spader site called The James Spader Meeting Place (JSMP for short). It was in operation for close to fifteen years, but unexpectedly closed shop about two or three years ago. Justbecause was my name on that wonderful site, so I thought I would resurrect it for this one.

I never posted much on the old Blacklist site, but I loved reading all of your comments...and still do! Thanks for lots of speculation to chew on.

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Welcome, TImetraveler/Justbecause!

I was not aware ot the JSMP. That's too bad, but happy to have you here and in the great state of PA!

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Thanks for the tip about tinypic.com . . . I'll see if I can find an Iowa avatar.

Can't find what I want, but at least this one is G-rated.

That's G for "Grandma"! LOL.

Seriously, there are some scary avatars out there. I made this one at www.pickaface.net

LOL! Iowa Watcher.

And welcome Justbecause! And any other new members who may have joined recently. I have been busy and may have missed you! I'm really happy to see that we have so many members joining us here. Very cool!

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Justbecause: Welcome! I remember the James Spader website. It too was a very cool site. My husband and I were huge Boston Legal fans, we have the whole series on DVD   I really like the man!

I hope you jump in from time-to-time, we love getting different perspectives. I can't tell you how many times I've read something here that I hadn't even thought of while reading other's posts.

Now I need to go look for that pesky little gnome....

So glad you joined us!!!

Haha!  I know, right?  I recall some almost ::coughs:: twenty years ago, hopping on Danny Elfman, Tim Burton, Transformers, and Comic Book forums using the same format!  But hey-hey!  It's super easy to use, and most certainly isn't broken.  Thanks for setting this whole thing into motion!

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Hey, Tabs, did you set up the forum so that people would achieve various status levels after so many post? I just noticed that. LOL! And I just knew that lara1 was an actual blacklister.  (grin)

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I thought perhaps this would be the least distracting, and the most appropriate place to say that I very much still love The Blacklist, and I very much still love this place, but the past few weeks have been ::achem:: A Series of Unfortunate Events.  ::hat-tip::  ^-^

What I mean is, I work for a very small business, and we got slammed this holiday season.  And then the business owner decided she wanted to retire.  Instead of selling said business, she decided to up and close shop for good.  The job market here is pretty crappy, so me and my co-workers have been left scrambling for a job. I decided I'm tired of scrambling, so I'm taking some time off to finish my first novel, instead.  Henceforth, the lack of hopping onto this fantastic site and having at it.    So it's been a pretty intense and ridiculously fast few months.  BUT!  I think I'm close to catching up with myself, and so I hope to be around again soon.  ^-^

That being said, everyone is amazing, and I miss everyone lots!  And I wouldn't bother to state the noted above at all, save perhaps that I always find myself wondering what happens to the regulars when they're not around, too. And THAT being said, Happy Blacklist Thursday, everyone!  :D

(P.S.  Feel free to move and/or delete this post, as needed.  Thanks!  ^-^)

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

deadskie13 - so sorry to hear of the recent upheavals in your life.  Thanks for checking in, I missed you!  I hope that things take a turn for the better for you and life levels out a bit.  Or more than levels out!

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

Hang in there deadskie13 with all the scrambling and chaos! You are a resilient person - many people would get discouraged by what you're going through. Instead you've turned it into an opportunity to follow your dream and write a novel!!

Many kudos and well wishes! In time, please let us know about your book.

Re: Welcome fellow refugees!

OH deadskie13, that is just crazy! So glad that you are persevering, though and I hope things work out for you. You know the old cliche about doors closing and windows opening.  (grin) I am going back to work myself in a week or so, after being off for several years, by choice.

As long as TBL is around we will be around. You are free to drop in or not as you need or want to. I am looking at this thread because I still can't look at the episode discussion as I am still an hour out from watching it out here on the west coast.
