So what’s been going on with Ressler the past two years? Tune in tonight to find out.

Just finished my watch. Didn't even know TBL was on tonite - was trying to find out when Bull was on and I found Blacklist.
Anyways, never thought I'd say this but Mr. Klattenhoff deserves an Emmy for this out-of-character episode. I'm not a big fan of Diego - but I call 'em like I see 'em - - - and tonite Diego Klattenhoff hit it out of the park with his stand-alone episode as Donald Ressler. The finale when he killed the lady's sick/abusive husband cop was poignant and so was Donald's slow-bonding with Theodore. . . . kudos to the kid who played Theodore. Great young actor!
The lady who played Theodore's mom appeared to by an incidental character at the beginning but the writing and plot line built her up as a wonderful character - just as lost as Donald. In the end they needed each other - for different reasons!
A blacklist without Spader, Amir, Harry, etc. Almost impossible to conjure, right?
Wrong? This was a keeper episode. I suspect Aram will get his stand-alone later this season!

Thanks for starting the thread, HW! I'm glad you got to go on your trip!
Did you find the Raspberry and Vanilla cake, Eastcoast? That sounds really good.
I had tea and several almond cookies . . . it's been in the single digits, and I haven't ventured out to the store lately.
Tonight's episode was very sad. I'm glad to know what went on with Ressler, but it was soul crushing. I almost wish he hadn't gone back to the task force. It seems like almost a step backwards.
I swear, Agnes looks even older than last time! Is the plan to make her an older teen?
I hope next week isn't as sad.

BBB -- I think Aram's episode will be easier to watch, with bits of weird humor.

Aram is the Persian Red Skelton . . .

I agree; a standout performance by Diego. A sad story but it filled in his past two years. Nice editing going back and forth from present to past. The cemetery scene was nicely done and I liked that he even got in a little dig at Tom but was glad that he was there with Liz so she wasn’t alone. We saw how Ressler left the FBI and now I can’t wait to see how Dembe joined the FBI in 8.9.
I’m doing the New Years lose a few pounds thing so my usual Cadbury bar was replaced by sugar-free hot chocolate, but I did toss in a few mini marshmallows!
I’m glad we got to go on our little family vacation. When we booked it back in April we had hoped covid would be well into the rear view mirror. But everyone was careful and we had a very nice time. And we got back just before all the airline cancellations started happening! Whew!

Haha! Love this!
HW, if your body and budget can take it, try Keto. I've had co-workers lose 10 - 15 pounds on it very quickly and report much better over-all health. It's too much protein for me, but it works for others.
Off to see what Jodi Walker has to say about all of this. It's certainly a different sort of season.

Diego did a great job. I'm just getting drained about the drug problem he has.
I could see he was going to get jumped, but..... I didn't expect to see him get so beat up. I felt that was out of place for his character.
Agnes just seams to look older each time we see her.
I was waiting to see if he was going to have any hallucinations of Liz or Tom at the grave. Just Liz goes off into a dream state to have those.
And let's not forget continuity.
Did anyone else notice he got on the bus and left his bags sitting there?
How about the date on the headstone? (2021)
I thought the kid was a great actor. He did a really good job.
