    NCIS: LA actor Miguel Ferrer - dead at 61

    Couldn't quite believe my eyes when I was checking hockey scores and found Miguel Ferrer had died. Only 61. Great screen presence - mostly as a 2nd or 3rd banana but a very committed one at that.
    Did not know Ferrer had cancer - as was disclosed in the following article . . . .

    Yes very sad.  I had no idea that he was sick.  I don't watch the show every week, but he was always very good in it.
