Re: The Skinner, Pt 2.

Cool, Eastcoast! It's one slice of apple pie here.

Haven't decided what I think of tonight's show. I admit my eyebrows were raised when Red mentioned having Park watched (if I heard that right). I wonder what she is involved in.

It was a clever way to reboot the task force and give Red a new "organization." Panabaker as a senator is cool.

But it seems like a lot of the chemistry is really off. Dembe as an FBI agent isn't working for me, for one thing. Park is still really annoying to me, but she did a good job with chase scene. As far as a "rebuilding" episode, it worked.

I dunno. Yeah, they have a lot of backstory to unpack if they want to.

They're missing a strong female lead. I don't know how or if they're going to fix that.

Re: The Skinner, Pt 2.

CREATIVITY - I thought this was perhaps the most creative episode of TBL - EVER!!!
Producers, directors & writers all conspired to put together a wonderfully congruent episode and the actors all did their part to make it work.
Tonite's all-star = Cynthia Panabaker (as played by Deirdre Lovejoy)
I thought she was done with Harold & Co. but she made quite the impression tonite.
Her short scene with James Spader was extraordinary!

They've also managed to humanize Agent Park and bathe Ressler with a modicum of empathy!

Red becoming the new "Skinner" was a blast . . . ! ! !

Re: The Skinner, Pt 2.

I liked the episode. A fine conclusion to the Skinner story, or "How We Got the Band Back Together." They made it plausible and not contrived. I was glad to see Red get another organization to lead. Since the whole purpose of his old one was to protect Liz, I sort of figured it was dismantled after she died. Ressler is going to be interesting to watch this season. Plus I love it when Red gets together with other criminal leaders and they have a friendly relationship instead of trying to kill one another. Giving up being The Skinner to run a condo association. Of course. Happens every day!

IW, you can never go wrong with apple 🥧!!

I just dont know yet, I need a few more episodes.
I have been a Pannabaker fan in the past, but I felt her attitude was a bit nasty.
Dembe belongs with Red and Ressler needs a haircut!  Lol.

Dembe is trying out for a spot under Harold in the PO. Lets give it a chance although his interactions with Red were amazing, stating so much with minimal dialogue. We already saw Dembe & Ressler work with an unsteady bond and Dembe was able to use Red's words to placate Ressler, albeit temporarily because everything is temporary with Donald. Love to see Dembe & Agent Park work together, given her disdain of Reddington's motives & actions.

The one temp team I'm really hoping they'll give us at least 1, maybe 2 episodes is Reddington & Panabaker. Red gave Cynthia a well-deserved spanking in the last episode for her intransigence. Musta worked - shortly after they had funding & FBI connections, computers, etc. You don't waste teaming your 2 most loquacious characters by ignoring their sandpaper IS THEIR CHEMISTRY!

Re: The Skinner, Pt 2.

Oh, I'll hang on throughout the season. It'll be interesting to see where they go. I do like that the first two stories were tight. I'm worn out by the time it comes on. To be fair, my day is starting about 5:30 am right now.

Yes, Donald needs a haircut.
