Re: Episode 8.22 - Konets

I suppose season 9 will go whichever way they decide to pick up the story. If it's immediately following Konets, then we will have a devastated Red picking up the pieces of his life and work. Then we will also have the baddies who want to fill Townsend's shoes. I figure those will be the first Blacklisters.

Re: Episode 8.22 - Konets

"Cape May" was the result of Red's belief that Liz was dead. Now that she REALLY IS, it seems that there will be a much more powerful reaction.

He's already killed the person who killed Liz.  I think his reaction will be quite diffferent this time.

Re: Episode 8.22 - Konets

I think Pinky will be blaming himself for LIz's death at the hands of Townsend's #1 henchman. The first 2 or 3 episodes will feature a despondent, self-blaming & volatile Mr. PInky Reddington. Only Agnes will give him slight solace. Might have to bring on a coo-coo psychiatrist/therapist to deal with his massive amount of grief.

Re: Episode 8.22 - Konets

Well. His whole reason for having The Blacklist no longer exists, except for now being there to protect Agnes. So Agnes should now become the reason to continue his life's work. Just think, if they hadn't written Megan Boone's pregnancy into the storyline, there would be no more Blacklist with her gone. Of course that was probably the original intention anyway.

Well, with Townsend gone and all of those other baddies vying for his position, I'm sure it will upset the balance of power in the behind the scenes criminal world enough to give us all sorts of stories for season 9.

I don't think they've brought Pannabaker on a mission yet, have they?
Letting her team with Dembe, Red, even Park or Ressler could be most interesting as she's always exhibited a certain disdain for the Post Box and their association with Reddington.

I'd also like to see a Bizarro "dream fantasy" TBL episode where Red is suddenly in charge of the post office while Harold teams with Dembe and the usual assortment of The Red Freaks . . . ! ! ! Harold & Glen would have been a gasser!

Re: Episode 8.22 - Konets

That would be fun, BBB!

I just wonder if we've lost all of the answers to the spy stuff. What else happened with Tom Keen, for example. It's about time for me to go back and rewatch the pilot.
