Okay, I know it’s early! But let’s get this party started!

Yes, there is a balloon scene.

And, I was looking for something in a cupboard a couple of nights ago and found the Last Cadbury Dairy Milk bar! So I am set for my snack. They seem to have discontinued them at my grocery store. I hope there’s not a shortage!

One of the best openings to a Blacklist episode in its storied history. The Aram - Red - Dembe balloon voices were priceless earmarks.

So did she set up Townsend's guy to shoot her? And it's fake? How did the shooter know that she was going to be there? I hope they've pulled something like that. I don't like that Agnes has lost her mother.
I was sort of expecting Liz to get shot. I'm sorry that I was right. Ugh.

I don't think Liz's death is fake, and I don't think Liz set up Townsend's guy to shoot her. Liz is deader than a doornail. Brilliant ending! Liz saw Red as Katarina as she died. She figured it out. And Red remembered himself as Katarina having Masha first put in his arms.

And what about that Transgender ad for some credit card during the show?

I thought Liz was going to turn the gun on herself when she lost her nerve to assassinate Reddington - but Townsend's man (VanDyke) saved her the trouble.
Now bring in Amy Acker & Michael Emerson (from the great Person of Interest series) to give Spader some amazing actors to play off of.
Perhaps Sarah Shahi, too!

Yep, that would salvage Season 9.

All true. I just didn't like Agnes being left without a mother. I'll get over it.

Wonder if TBL show-runners will write Agnes off the series, too?

Or use the increasingly bolder young actress whenever memories of Liz are required. If the series goes more than another 2 or 3 years - she'd be an interesting arc to follow, especially if they skipped thru time and presented her as a revenge-driven, smart as chips 15 or 16 yr old

Iowa Watcher - I agree it's sad Agnes has now lost both her mother and father. I think Red's purpose for living will be to protect Agnes now. If people would come for Liz and kill her, they would also come for Agnes.

I was expecting one of the Townsend wannabes to come after Liz. I didn’t realize that guy had survived the bunker inferno. I thought he was charcoal like Townsend. But, I was not surprised that Liz couldn’t go through with it. I was hoping she’d go off to that island, but I guess there really wasn’t anything else to do with Liz and it probably wouldn’t do to have her out there somewhere. People would always be expecting her to show up.

Well, I guess Agnes will now become Red's new protection obsession.

Redarina without actually saying it, I guess. Or as close as we will ever get. Unless it really is Dembe! LOL! I saw some people saying that today and it was good for a chuckle.

I agree, I don’t like that Agnes had to lose her other parent. I wonder how much we will see of her next season.

I’m glad we had the helium scene at the beginning. The rest was extremely dark. And since when did Ressler get so good at tying things all together like that!

The bullet thru his lungs must have given Ressler new brain cells. He sure put together the "Liz Kills Red" theory in no time at all. And for a guy recovering from serious ICU-level surgery, he sure ran from the hospital to the restaurant like a house on fire. The entire episode had the tone & tenor of 'Person of Interest' rocking it - including a unique episode-related soundtrack.
