Just happened to be online for a few minutes and decided to post the episode topic for tonight! Should be another good once since it probably sets up next week's flashback episode.
Don't know what I will have for a show snack. The way this week has been going, I might still be finishing dinner at 8!

Lets get it on . . . ! ! !
Watching NHL hockey until TBL kicks in for an hour . . . NHL games usually go 2 3/4 to 3 1/4 hours depending on penalties, delays, other Gary Bettman (greedy NHL commissioner) garbage!

Unique TBL episode. Godwin Page was a very good add to the cast - and especially the plot.
Pennebaker was her usual twisted southern self - I've always liked her, straight shooter with a twisted accent.
The last couple scenes with Liz & Red were master classes in acting. Unfortunately, James Spader is so darn good he could do amazing scenes with a broomstick. And sad to say, Megan Boone was pretty much a broomstick in those last couple scenes.
As Sherlock Holmes once said -
The Reveal is Afoot . . . ! ! !

What a crazy good episode with lots of suspense and trickery! I'm very excited about the final two episodes. Those of you refugees who've been around for awhile know about the old speculation that the scar was in the shape of the Baltic Sea. It's nice to see that confirmed.
I have a feeling NBC wanted to take the show in a whole new direction, and that may be why we are getting some answers now.

Am I the only one getting a Dougal MacKenzie vibe from Godwin Page?

I agree: a new direction is needed. I think there will also be some revisionist history in the "reveal," but -- hey -- I like this show a lot better when I just ride along.
Biggest thing I heard: KR is still alive . . . does that mean Fakerina is alive or that she's fake as a lot of us suspected and her real mom is still alive? (Or that it's Red . . . I don't want to go there, tonight, but that has been one of the theories). Or, is it just that she wasn't killed? I'll go look at the transcript.
So glad some of the scar story has been resolved.
Well, they've got my attention! So we have to wait an additional week for answers? Looks like some Minions movie is on next Friday in their time slot.
Eastcoast, I had a sliver of cherry pie and a fairly big scoop of the last of the homemade ice cream from the farmers market. What did you have?
Putting this here as a reminder to me: I have a mind like a holely screen door these days!
The Blacklist returns Wednesday, June 16, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Oh boy oh boy, we will finally get a look inside the Big Red Machine! My personal theory from just about the beginning has been that Red's operation somehow maintains the balance of world power. Maybe it really is something like that after all. And it’s like a big chess game. Map of Doom, please!
I loved that stealing the Box thing! Put her in the Box where she’ll be safe. Right! Just blow off the roof and steal the whole box. I was sure it was Red. Who else knows the Post Office as well as he does. Nice visuals. And then Liz goes from the Box to being locked in a horse stall. But the most fun thing was meeting Mrs. Brimley! They met at veterinary school. Of course! Explains all of Brimley's animal assistants. She was funny. Her expertise is reflected in her fee. LOL! She can’t walk and he can’t breathe, but they love each other very much.
So the scar is the Baltic. I guess that means it was also what was on Tom's go box. And wasn’t it on a piece of paper in one episode that I can’t remember which one right now?
Thanks for the article link, RedIsMyCopilot. I guess they sort of have to do the backstory now in order to have a reason for a season 9. So Liz is getting the why, I am guessing so she will be able to take her place in the operation. I liked how Cooper pointed out to Red that he hadn’t exactly kept her safe by not telling her and he agreed it was time. I’m thinking, too, that they’ve figured out that we are still watching after 8 years and that we are mostly now "along for the ride" rather than worrying about the big secrets anymore.
Here’s a big loose end from tonight, though. Liz activated the chip, then got swept up in Red's beginning to tell her what she wants to know. We didn’t see her toss it out the window or deactivate it. Won’t Townsend now be drawn to Red's secret “epicenter" too? I have a feeling that the finale will either see Townsend eliminated or provide a big cliffhanger to carry us over the summer.

Best line of the night.
Panabaker: This has got Reddington's paw prints all over it.
Lukas Reiter is the best!

IW, I had Lemon Cake and apple pastry pie bites. I have been wanting a good cherry or Blueberry pie. I think I will have to do that for the next one.
At least we have a confirmation on the scar. I'm just waiting to see why someone burned it into her.
HW, I was thinking the whole time that I hope Liz turned the chip back off!
Yes, it was on the envelope that Tom gave her at the bank.
Loved meeting Mrs. Brimley. Strange couple. Lol.
Lifting the box out? That was a little out of this world to me.
A rewatch is in order!

Honey West - Yes, meeting Mrs. Brimley was fun!
East Coast - This episode is definitely worth a rewatch.

I'd love meeting The Brimleys, Glen Carter & Glen's mother Paul at any Blacklist convention.
Are there going to be Blacklist conventions?
Obviously in my imaginary mind the ones I'd like to meet (in order):
1. Spader (obviously)
2. Penebaker
3. Dembe
4. Paula Carter
5. Glen
6. Mozhan Marno
7. Harold (Harry Lennix)
8. Mike Starr (Bino)
9. Mr. Kaplan
10. Tom Keen
11. Hans Gruber, Jr.
12. Lahari

Yummy! I'll have to get something good for Wednesday. I've been cutting lawns in this heat. I think I've sweated off 10 pounds.
Should be a great show on Wednesday!
