Well, this looks to be good! I’m sure that we may learn something new, but I’m also sure that it will lead to even more questions.

Boy, that Priya Lighari character grew on me! She saved Liz & Reddington with her criminal/escape ingenuity. A righteous thief if there ever was. A heroic character out of nowhere. Only The Blacklist delivers such heroic surprises. Now that we care for her - Townshend has included her in his "KILL LIST".

I'm calling it... Ivan Stepanov is KATERINA ROSTOVA. (or maybe her brother)

This may be the best Blacklist episode of the season. You think you're getting answers, but only Neville Townsend has them. The whisper in the ear ... where have we seen that before. LOL I can't believe the entire Task Force and Priya are on Neville's hit list now.
BBB - I agree Priya is a fantastic character. I hope we see her again.

My nominee for Episode of the Year.
Only unanswered question is how Liz sussed out Priya so rapidly in the Townshend compound. Only explanation is - the script called for it. . . . ! ! !

LOL! I don’t know who he is, but his number was 5.
He did say that he had waited 35 years to meet Masha, though.

Yes, that 35 years comment jumped out at me. And he was crying when he met her.

Stepanov certainly looks more like the kind of ftm transman you'd see in everyday life ;-)
I laugh more than get excited watching TBL these days, though.
When Red was telling Harold how dear Ivan Stepanov was to him and did all that sensitive, softening of the face, under-the-skin twitch, to indicate it would decimate him if he were to lose Ivan, I turned to my husband and said, "ok, so Red will be decimated by grief and sorrow if the character formerly portrayed as "Ivan the Terrible" were to die??? I don't think I can get my emotions to switcheroni like that so fast..."
Otherwise, it was an entertaining episode.
I now think they will continue with their original storyline, I just think they lost a lot of the quality when they cleared house of some of the best screenwriters at the end of season 4. It wasn't the "what" of the story that was intriguing, it was the "how" - how the story was written and presented, that was riveting. One more look at Cape May, which on its face was devoid of much dialogue, is proof positive of that. I still consider that episode to be a masterpiece.
But then again, the Pilot was awesome!
Anyway, good to catch up with you all

Oh, hey, Tuxie, is it too late for me to plant lilies in Wisconsin? We had to dig up our front lawn because all my flowers were choked out by 3 foot tall white daisies... I don't know what they were.
These are in our back. I am not a green thumb.

Tatiana - It's not too late to plant daylilies in your zone.

Thank you!

You can certainly plant lilies! I'm putting my tomatoes into the ground tomorrow. They've been living on a garden card and wheeled in at night. I'm in Central Iowa.
Good episode! I wonder what the translation is of the Russian that Red said to Ivan -- on my list of things to look up. I agree -- we might've gotten a partial answer -- but tons more questions.
I love this show! But my spring is getting busier. I had to active carve out an hour to watch it.
Eastcoast, it's strawberry shortcake time out here. I've been eating far too much of it!
