A bit of uncertainty creeping into the equation. Here's a copy of what Cinema Blend had to say when listing shows that could be in cancellation hell.
The Blacklist, NBC People have turned on The Blacklist this fall. I don't know if this has to do with anger over Elizabeth Keen's faked death or what happened between Red and Mr. Kaplan. It might even have to do with The Blacklist's late night timeslot on Thursdays, as the longer-running show has been known to pull in good DVR numbers. Whatever the problem, The Blacklist has been pulling horrible numbers compared to former seasons this fall, with recent episodes only nabbing a wee bit over a 1.0. Of all the shows on the list, you would think NBC would stand behind this one the most, as it is in its fifth season on the network. Plus, NBC has a spinoff for The Blacklist called Redemption already in the works. I'm sure NBC wants to keep The Blacklist, but these numbers do not look good.

I'm really afraid they're setting up for an end this spring. The episodes have been very weak this season and "The Forecaster" had lots of references to Red's demise.
If they do close out, PLEASE! may they close out with a flourish, their best writing ever, best acting from all players, and fill in the great reveal! If they leave things out or hanging because they don't have enough time, I'll sue them for emotional and mental distress!

The ratings really have dropped,, and The Blacklist is ranking last for NBC's scripted shows in the same-day ratings. With the last two episodes, it's fallen off the Live Plus 3 top 25. This could be the last season. If it is, I just hope the show runners know soon enough to give loyal fans a satisfying ending.

Tuxie - I'm so sad to hear that, although I know it's reality. It was such a high quality show. I agree that it would be best if they tell the show runners sooner rather than later so the last season makes sense.

The vermin who run networks don't really care about show quality - its all about ratings and selling soap. The sicks who run CBS left my favourite show of all-time, Person of Interest dangling in the wind before allowing it to have a severely curtailed 13 episode final season - which really crimpled the quality of story-telling, etc.
Most current CBS drama programming is virtual trash - POI was a beacon in the desert. . . . . . but they killed off some of the best characters in TV history - and the amazingly profound story of artificial intelligence running our surveillance systems.

Running by real fast to drop this bit of info off. Not sure how reliable the source is, but I found this:
GAH!! So excited if it is indeed legit!!!
Hope everyone's doing well--or at least lots better after this (potential-as-of-yet-to-be-confirmed-confirmed) good news!
(Apologies if such info has already been posted. I'm still running behind on life!)
(Aaand, it may not be legit. There's a lot of names spelled incorrectly and such. :/ BUT! One can still hope!)

None of the tv renewal/cancellation alerts that I have subscribed to have sent anything yet either way. Some latest numbers, March 1st, show TBL with more total viewers than The Good Place, which did well enough to get renewed, just as an example. In any case I would be surprised if TBL production folk don't already know.

I don't think NBC has announced any shows yet, even those that most people think are certainly going to be renewed. There is a lot of speculation out there and the "clickbait" sites run all sorts of stories to draw people in. I don't know about either of these sites and what they are like. It's hard to know what to think!

It does look like a click bait site to me. The only NBC show I know is renewed is This Is Us for two seasons.

There are some recently unburied rumors about a Season 5. I asked TV Grim Reaper who has an excellent track record for predicting renewals and cancellations. Responded that no announcement has been ma
