Re: Episode 07:03 - Les Fleur de Mal

MORE BBB NOTES:

1. Liz's security cameras - heroes seldom have security cameras because you need certain levels of vulnerability for plot lines to proceed. Same for Red having oversight of Lizzy's apartment - and developing a total blindspot for his nemesis KR.

2. Nurse Franky - now having lied to Red for apparently no reason (maybe there are reasons) about being married and going to Peppermill to celebrate her anniversary. Red on the make for Franky - sending wine to the Peppermill to no avail. Why is Franky lying to Red? Is she the woman of a 1000 identities? Is she a black-lister within a black-lister (illusionist)? Or is she Katarina's ace-in-the-hole?

Interesting chess moves ahead, , , ,

Re: Episode 07:03 - Les Fleur de Mal

All good comments!

The only answer I have about Liz's security cams is that KR is a "super spy," so maybe she turned them off before entering Liz's apartment.

Honeywest: I missed your earlier comments about the K but that is an interesting possibility.

I just hope that they don't give this final season the "Game of Thrones" treatment and leave us with a boatload of loose threads and unresolved story lines.

Re: Episode 07:03 - Les Fleur de Mal

I think what’s probably the most troubling about Aram's new  love interest isn’t so much that her catatonic husband is in the house, but that he is becoming involved with a rather twisted thrill seeker whose attraction to him is most likely because she was incredibly turned on by her brush with death in the Defiance and Aram as her savior in trying to save her. She’s a sicko. And I think that’s what really bothers us at some level.

Also think Aram has morphed nicely from tech genius in the box to Arabic James Bond . . . . the way he took out The Defiance vermin was quite impressive. His attraction to "Joelle" prolly signals he's over Samar - - - - which in Blacklist-speak means Samar is prolly in the hopper for an upcoming episode!

HW,  I was thinking the same thing. I thought that woman was twisted in the head!!!  Run! 🏃‍♂️

BBB,
That was an Awesome scene wasn't it!

I noticed she is in a few of the upcoming episodes.
Not the last of the sicko HW.

😴

Re: Episode 07:03 - Les Fleur de Mal

The nurse's Ding Dong Ditch was a highlight of the episode. I enjoyed Katarina's spy stuff in Liz's apartment and the creepy reading of Red Riding Hood.  I was most bothered by Aram pursuing a relationship with a married woman whose husband was a vegetable. That seemed so out of character to me. Until now, Aram has been the most moral character in the show.  And it seemed way to soon after losing Samar for him to be looking for a relationship. I do agree with Kathy N that the writers stretched credulity.  That note signed with a K really ticked me off. It was so childish - like something a middle schooler would do.

Re: Episode 07:03 - Les Fleur de Mal

I did a rewatch. I think when Liz heard her reading the book, it may have triggered a memory as it did when she heard Kate talking to Agnes.

I thought maybe she chose that book because Liz had liked it?

I think because Liz has always wanted a family so much,  that she really will teeter on the edge of danger when she thinks she has a link.

If she suspects this is her mother,  she will want to see where it goes and what she can find out on her own like she has always done.

Ya know Tuxie, that was a bit childish.  That could be why he crumbled it up the way he did.

I really had a hard time thinking of Aram losing his moral compass.  It is soooooo out of character.

Yes! that K note was ridiculous.   And speaking of the note, what if the FBI got there first (which would be the logical assumption)?   Red wouldn't even see it.  Who knows how long it would take him to get to the location after speaking to Liz.  Why didn't Cooper send a team to pick up the Illusionist? It  defies logic that this would be something they'd just hand to Red to take care of, as if they really did all  just work for him.  Especially when Liz is so desperate to get answers she can't get from Red. She's going to hand him her only opportunity to get answers first?  Please...

I was very surprised to see Jodi Walker of EW ranked this week's episode above last week's. She actually gave it an A.  Since I have nothing so positive to say, I'll say nothing at all.  Suffice it to say my grade would have been much lower.

Glad you brought that up.  Good point.  I was thinking it was a good thing he got there first.  Lol
