Mozhan Marno has surfaced
After her exquisite run as Samar Navabi on TBL - Mozhan appeared as an actress without a series.
This week - she surfaced on Madame Secretary, playing Roxanne Majidi, fashion stylist to the new U.S. President, Elizabeth McCord
At first I didn't recognize her but knew there was something special - she was pretty dolled up in a perfect dress, perfect hair and sensibly fashionista shoes.
Hope the show-runners (final season of Mad Secretary) realize her potentials and move her up thru the ranks from fashion stylist to security detail (ie. invent a mossad or the like back story for Majidi)

Big Bad Bazzer - Oh no! I missed Madame Secretary last night!
Mozhan is a wonderful actress, capable of an exquisitely wide range of portrayals. I'm happy she now has the freedom to shine! Honestly, with all due respect to Megan Boone, I think Mozhan would have been an exceptional Elizabeth Keen. Wow, can you imagine her and Spader on screen? Electric.

imho Mozhan was slightly under-utilized on TBL. Who knows why she took a role on Mad. Secretary - its their final season, after all?
But I fully agree with you she would have been sensational as Liz Keen - even her and the guy who played Tom Keen would have been great.
That said, Meghan Boone wasn't very good in Season 1 - but I think the show-runners wanted a fairly green & inexperienced actress to grow into the role - and there's no question she has.
Mozhan is also nearly 40, while Boone was in her mid-20s when she first took the Elizabeth role on TBL.

Actually looked into actual ages of the actors.
Megan is only 3 yrs younger than Mozhan, She was just under 30 when she first took on the role.
Mozhan is still not yet 40 - but can play a harder, tougher and more physically active female than Megan. She reminds me of a middle eastern Amy Acker - alas without the sensational smile that lights up a set..
