Thanks Honeywest,  I wonder if this is going to be like Requiem?  I hope so.  This sounds like a good one.

Re: 7.04 title and description

I've seen a few trailers for this episode, it looks like it will be a really good one.

In anticipation of a show about what happened in Kuwait, I went back through some old shows to refresh my memory.

Gina Zanetakos 1.6

My job is my business, Harold. Delivering criminals to you is a hobby, a diversion, one that may become tiresome, in which case we could always reminisce about that unfortunate incident in Kuwait.
Are you threatening me, Red?
I am.  Hardly the time to let morals stand in the way of your upward mobility, Agent Cooper.

Lord Baltimore  2.1

When are you coming back to work?
I'm not.
Things are at a tipping point, Harold. Your replacement has the unfortunate distinction of being both untrustworthy and incompetent.
I've informed the Bureau. It's time to be with my family. Charlene's from the Dominican. I've promised we'd spend more time there.
I hate sand.
If this is some kind of threat
It's not a threat, Harold. It's a bribe. That is my only copy of our little adventure in Kuwait. I'm giving it to you only to underscore the urgency of our situation.

Mr. Gregory Devry  3.11

(Devry, the man who was impersonating Reddington was giving intel to convince the post office team he was the real Red):  March 8, 1985, I ran point on an attack on the Beirut home of Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah. June 1989, I coordinated Operation Minesweep, which provided back office support and oversight for Naval Intelligence operations in Kuwait carried out by the 160th SOAR. The op was off the books but can be confirmed by Assistant Director Harold Cooper.

Thanks KathyN!  It's great to see all those mentions about Kuwait in the different seasons.

Re: 7.04 title and description

I started to put info about the clip they just played on the other board, but thought I better put it over here in the spoiler section.

Cooper asked him how he knew about Hutton.
He said, 'I know.... because I know.  Because who ever I once was, I am now, and will continue to be Raymond Reddington. Given where we are going,  The real question is, who are you?  Are you the man in front of me who I know to be good and decent or are you the man from years ago who got himself in this mess in the first place?

Re: 7.04 title and description

Interesting clip.  There's another one on EW.  These affirm my belief that Cooper never knew why Red turned himself in and was never "in it" with Red.

Re: 7.04 title and description

Both of those clips are great. I'm really looking forward to this episode.

Here's a direct link to the clip Eastcoast referred to from the Seth Meyers show.  If you click on this link, it takes you right to the clip (the youtube video is for the entire show, the link leads you right to the clip which starts about 13 minutes in).

The way Red was looking at Cooper I kept thinking - is he going to drop Harold off for dinner somewhere?

Seriously though, the way Red would normally deal with the situation would be to eliminate Harold and get somebody else appointed to replace him. Unless, of course, only Harold can do what Red needs him to do; then he's probably safe, at least for now. And Red did work hard on him to get him to come back to the task force when he was getting ready to quit, way back when. So I think Harold himself is still an important part of Red's endgame.

Re: 7.04 title and description

Honey West - I am a bit worried about Cooper. This talk in the plane and what Red says to Dembe makes me think he might get the Smokey treatment.  If Red killed Cooper, I would probably stop watching.

Re: 7.04 title and description

Yeah, he did it to Peter K and Smokey. That's twice now. I hope he still needs Cooper more than he would need to kill him. Maybe the outcome of their story tomorrow night will determine that.

I think a lot of people would stop watching.  Killing off a main character right now would really be a bummer.

Has Harry been seen on the set lately?  He is doing some interviews the last few days.   I did not see him listed on IMDb.
I think he and Red will come to terms and get this worked out.  Throwing Coop out of a plane would probably send Liz a bit over the edge, not to mention the fans.

I am looking forward to this episode.

I was looking for Harry in the listings but didn't see him.  I know that happens at times.

I did see one of the new cleaners listed in ep 6 I think.

Also saw a stunt dbl for Brett C. In one !!

Re: 7.04 title and description

I was wondering earlier if Cooper is calling him Koslov to see if he will try to tell him he is really Red or not?  I had the impression that Cooper thinks this is really Red and that maybe he is lying to Liz.
