Someone said they thought it looks like maybe Red gets rescued early on in the season.
My thought was "what if he doesn't want to be rescued?"

Mmmmmm, HW, that is an interesting thought!

Eastcoast - That did look like Laila in the pic on Aly's site.

Amir is such a tease!
From his Twitter posts:
"These first two @NBCBlacklist scripts back feel like an entire season in itself!! That’s how many times my draw dropped. Season 7 is gonna be something."
and:
...and I just read the third episode. OMG. Wish I could say more. Catch up, tune in for #Season7 @NBCBlacklist

Amir makes those first three episodes sound so enticing! I'm looking forward to October, and I'm so glad we don't have to wait until January this time.

I've seen some of the deleted scenes from the DVD/Blue Ray and the gag reel. There's some interesting stuff there.

The Blu-rays arrived yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to watch any of them yet.

I look forward to your thoughts on the deleted scenes, HoneyWest!

Happy August! You've all been busy posting up a storm, so it'll take me awhile to catch up.
I'm off work for the next few days! I'm not sure what happened to this summer -- it went by fast! -- but I'm glad TBL will back soon. In the meantime, I have a deck to sand and stain.

IowaWatcher, Happy August to you too! glad you will be able to catch up.
Tuxie, I saw a few things out there. The one with the bird was really funny.
Honeywest, I can't wait to hear your thoughts myself.
I hope everyone is having a great summer so far!

Hello Iowa Watcher! The summer has gone by quickly!
Eastcoast - Yes the bird one on the gag reel was funny, and so was the one where Spader left the Post Office before he was supposed to.

The deleted scene that was the most intriguing to me was the one where Red is sent to the prison infirmary to get treatment for his condition. It made me wonder again when they are going to reveal what his medical condition is, and why he's in a medical trial. I've also noticed in rewatching Season 1 that there are two times medical "trials" are done: one with Frederick Barnes, and a second with MIlton Bobbit's health being damaged irreversibly by a medical tria, and the third when Andropov tests the engineered virus on the senator's son. Of course in Season 2 we have Cooper in the medical trial for his fake brain tumor and and Andropov testting the engineered virus on the senator's son.. I don't recall any medical trials in Season 3 - the closest thing is Sir Crispin Crandall freezing heads. In Season 4 we get the Crispr medical trials that Dr. Adrian Shaw was doing. There's Natalie Luca in Season 5, and then in Season 6 we get The Pharmacist and Red injecting himself in a later episode. The theme of medical trials is strong thoughout the series. I'm thinking the medical condition is the main reason Red came into Liz's life when he did.
Edited on Moonday because some of this was garbled.

Just hopping on for a second to say I found the same, Tuxie, the medical/trial/off-label stuff really seems to be emerging.

Tatiana - I've always thought that comment Dr. Nik made about Liz's "adhesions" during her labor in the nightclub was strange. Liz told him it was an appendix scar. But was it? Could it have been a biopsy scar, or a scar from some other kind of surgery? I'm thinking maybe she donated some body part, tissues, or bone marrow to Red, or even one of his parents long ago. This could be how she was the "chosen one." Did the Kirk storyline mirror this in some way? Or Liz was a participant in some kind of clinical trial to save her own life? There was a lot packed into that episode (Solomon Pt. 2), yet the writers wanted us to know about the "appendix" adhesions. I think it will play a role in a future reveal.
