Re: Episode 6:21 - Anna McMann

BBB, odd how those poor folks were named Grim and Anna's grim face guy goes to the door.

She has to go!  I have one nerve left and she jumped all over it on my re-watch.  😖

Speaking of rewatching,  it was weird to me in Rassvet when we see little Liz during the fire looking one way, then we see her at the Motel looking another.  Her hair is more like Jennifer's during the fire. I think they should have fixed her hair more like the first girl.

Re: Episode 6:21 - Anna McMann

Or....... as postulated by a commenter on Entertainment Weekly's recap, there are two scenarios for assassination of President Diaz.
1)  The assassination will be faux and Diaz "survives" to become a hero and win re-election.  This faux attempt is the one endorsed by Diaz.  But why was it crafted as a super secret, international strategic formulation?
2) Anna McMahon has a different plan which she has not told Diaz  -  her plan is to actually kill Diaz.  But, for what gain?  And why is McMahon and the President so panicked about folks seeing the "plan."

Re: Episode 6:21 - Anna McMann

Just a quick note (of joy, mostly) as one of our favorite recurring Blacklist guest stars, Annie Heise re-surfaced on last night's episode of Bull on CBC. Annie played Elise, the double agent assassin who had a fling with Tom Kean and nearly ended up taking both Liz & Tom's life - all by her lonesome. This was, I believe in S.2 but I could be wrong - almost didn't recognize Annie when she first appeared last nite - she played a rather timid & meek mom accused of killing her daughter, thus seeking Jason Bull & Benny Colon's help. It was a very good episode and unique to see Annie cast in such contrast.

BBB - Elise's fling was with Aram, not Tom. I really loved the character, and I hope she gets a lot more TV parts.

Tatiana - I think this assassination could be a parallel to The Kingmaker in some way.

Re: Episode 6:21 - Anna McMann

It's finale week. The end of the series finale for Big Bang is Thursday, TBL on Friday . . . GoT on Sunday (and I start watching that short series next week).

I hope we get at least a glimpse of KR and Dembe in the Blacklist finale!

Eastcoast, I have to laugh because hubby and I are watching Person of Interest for the first time and last night's episode Root and Harold were captured and they threatened to take the Machine out of Root's head, when Root just went ballistic and broke the neck of Samaritan's #2 Evil Eye Woman. I could not stand her and they ended her quickly!

(no spoilers about POV please! We're almost done with season 4 and I'm loving that show)

Tatiana, that is funny.  I have never seen that show, so I have no spoilers for you!  Lol

Anna is just too sure of herself.   She is like a fly and I want to swat her!

Root was strapped into a prison bed - and was being continually tormented by Samaritan's #1 Assassin/Investigation "Martine". Martine tormented Root about killing Root's associate "Harold" - 'WITHOUT A PEEP'.
What ensued was the best 3 seconds of television drama ever delivered to the american psyche.
Martine, full of hubris & self-importance continued to taunt the 2 Team Machine members (Harold & Root) until the point Root could not stand the sound of Martine's ultra-hubristic voice and slipped her thin hands thru the binding straps - when Martine bent over to taunt Root again - Root grabbed the back of Martine's head with one hand and then proceeded to free her other hand to grab Martine's head, then spinning it nearly 360 degrees to cause immediate death to the Samaritan operative. VISUALLY STUNNING - MORESO BECAUSE IT WAS UNEXPECTED AND HAPPENED IN UNDER 3 SECONDS - - - - the kicker, after Root ended Martine she relaxed back into her prison bed and calmly stated: "NOW I SURRENDER".
Martine's employer, witnessing all of this showed little to no emotion and quickly had his own loogins come in to dispose of Martine's body like yesterday's garbage.
An amazing scene in an amazing show!
