Episode 6.19,

It looks like we are getting a younger Anton Velov in this one!
I also see a banker and a news anchor listed.  So I am wondering are they going to show her missing or having walked into the ocean on the news and claim she was so unknown?

I noticed that.  I wondered if this episode wouldn't be from Velov's reports or journal.

Re: Episode 6.19,

Rassvet,

Alone in a foreign country after a mission goes catastrophically wrong, Katarina Rostova goes on the run to avoid the forces trying to hunt her down. Isolated and out of options, she seeks out the only person she trusts, a man who has vowed to always protect her.

Wouldn't it be funny if Velov was that person? More likely he's the one hunting her down. But still...

Re: Episode 6.19,

HW,  Velov is in this one!
I am looking forward to this episode, but I get the feeling that we will have even more questions …
1 answer equals 20 questions.  Lol

Tuxie,

Those pics are interesting.  Do you think the older man could be Dom?

Re: Episode 6.19,

I'm figuring they are Dom and Raymond Reddington. But the real question is - is that Real Raymond or Fake Raymond? Which one is the one she could always trust to protect her? We may learn a lot of things, but I'm sure we won't get That Answer.

Someone in fandom said he is listed as 'young' Dom

There's some question about whether that's Raymond Reddington or Alan Fitch, believe it or not. Part of that is they show Katarina next to Gabriel Mann, the actor next to her, and he heads and shoulders above her even though she is wearing high heels. In Cape May, especially in the garage scene (suicide soliloquy) Red and Katarina are the same height.

Re: Episode 6.19,

Hmmm, I forgot about Fitch. Wouldn't that be something of he was the one who she could always trust to protect her? And if Fitch helped her to disappear he could have had the resources to do just that. He was a high level operative and (supposedly) helped bring down the Soviet Union. Fitch knew Raymond quite well and I suspect he knew Red was an imposter, too. He probably knew both of him.

Well, by the end of the season, I suspect we will know a lot of answers but we still will not know why Red came back into Liz's life.

Yes, CJ Wilson is cast as a younger Dom.

Re: Episode 6.19,

Gabriel Mann is cast as Ilyas Koslov.  I find it interesting that Koslov is a polar bear in Zootopia who heads a Russian criminal organization. I have no idea if there's any connection, but I found it curious.

It wouldn't be the first time TBL has used fictional characters from any source, video game, board game, literature, animes... etc. We've brought these up several times in many, many different instances. I still think these characters are sometimes an amalgamation of all the other fictional (and non-fictional!) characters ever created.

Tatiana -   I agree with your amalgamation idea!
