Re: Episode 6.16 Lady Luck

Tatiana - I've been having the same discussions on Reddit about the nature of Red's criminal enterprises.  He was called the concierge of crime because he get other criminals what they needed - no matter what that might be.  As far as I can see, he draws the line at sex slavery, animal poaching, and hurting women and children. People see what they want to see.

Agreed!

He does draw a line, but he is a criminal.  I haven't looked at what your talking about.  Are there people who don't think he is?

What's in Smokey's hand? Prolly an ominous message to the cabal - and one written in Cabal Code - so that they know Red is in Sherlock Holmes Country - aka 'THE GAME IS AFOOT' - so why is he giving the cabal an early warning system? Simple. He wants to panic them out of hiding, get them frantic & crazy with fear - and while they do Red is watching, Red is observing . . . .

BBB you are so clever. Even with super charged coffee, I don't think I'd have ever figured that one out. :-)

Not clever at all - I've watched too much TV over the years. its always an oblique message that might not even be covered by the main canon of the show. Sometimes, it is far better for us, the fans - to cobble together our own scripts of the imagination.

Or - Red could simply have been doing Heddy a favor?

Re: Episode 6.16 Lady Luck

I was thinking about when Liz was asking questions about her mother.  They said they basically didn't have information about her, she was a myth.  Now all of a sudden this guy MJ has information.
Is it possible Ressler is clueless to the danger this can put Liz, her grandmother and who ever else in?  What if this guy or someone he knows has something to do with the Osterman Co?

Since the CIA guy told Liz that Katarina Rostova was a myth, we've learned a lot more about her.  Ressler was able to get this information because it seems MJ is a friend who owes him. I don't think MJ has anything to do with the Osterman Umbrella Co. As long as Katarina is believed to be dead, there is no threat to Liz or Kat's mother.
