    Episode 6.18,

    The Brockton College Killer,

    When a frozen corpse is discovered in the woods, the Task Force is drawn into the investigation of an old case that has gained notoriety due to a popular true crime podcast. Meanwhile, Red visits Dom Wilkinson for help making a difficult decision, and Ressler makes a discovery about Katarina Rostova's past. 


    We have another double episode!!

    This sounds like an exciting double-header. An actor named Gabriel Mann is also cast in 6.19. A few years ago, he was compared to a young James Spader.

    I saw that posted yesterday. Very excited to see what they decide to reveal to us. I suspect they may be showing us some scenes between KR and Real Raymond. If Gabriel Mann is playing him that would make sense. And he only needs to resemble a young James Spader. Then again, he could be playing a young Imposter Red for all we know! LOL! We keep guessing as to when the switcheroo took place, but really, all we know for sure is that Real Ray was there when Liz was conceived. He could have vanished any time after that.
    I do worry about Ressler, though. Any time someone starts to get close to these secrets they end up dead.

    Apparently, "Rassvet" (6.19 title) means "Dawn" in Russian. (Рассве́т)  Really looking forward to this episode, though the last few have been among the best this season.

    Hi Cate,  Looks like it has been a long time since you were here?  Glad you posted!  
     Looking forward to the episode.  Maybe we will get something cannon out of this.  

    Honeywest,  That is a good point!  That is all we really know.  I hope we get some answers out of this.  Of course, 1 answer = 20 more questions.....

    Some have surmised that Dembe leaves Red for at least a while this season to avoid giving Liz away - feels more probable with Red's challenge in the trailer.  I think what I am most interested to see in these next few episodes is what is in that box that Red gave Dembe in Philomena (4.18), to open if Dembe ever decided to leave. 

    My luck, they'll probably end with him opening it in the last episode and leave us until the following fall!

    Sooooooo, in the preview, me thinks I saw a flash back of the fire.  I also got a pretty good look at the news paper article.  It was about RR when he went missing.  It mentions a wife and daughter and when he was missing.

    Yes, you did. Oddly, it looks like modern day Red in the flames. I wish we could see more of the newspaper. Like the date. Was that Katarina in the tub? I wonder which pieces of which episodes we were shown since it’s a two hour show. And whether Liz really knows everything or if she’s bluffing.

    I looked at that newspaper article and it says they are not sure but they think Reddington disappeared on Thursday night but some thing it may have been Wednesday night. If you look at a 1990 or 1989 calendar (oops! am I revealing my freakish fan-girldom?) you will see that neither Christmas nor Christmas Eve is anywhere near a Wednesday or Thursday. Granted, Ressler in the Pilot says Reddington was coming home for Christmas, but I had a sense that it was Christmas Eve, especially because they were making oyster stew, a traditional Christmas eve repast - in many Christian traditions abstinence from meat is observed on Christmas Eve.

    Interesting, Tatiana. I didn't check the dates yet for proximity to Christmas Eve. Ressler said he was coming home on leave for Christmas. Was it Red who said Christmas Eve? I can't remember.
    What about a 1991 calendar? (from the Fitch/Katarina tape) In case they've changed the year on us.

    HoneyWest - yes, I have to look into the whole Christmas dates again. Was it just implied that it was Christmas Eve or was there an event on Christmas Eve? Jennifer talked about waiting with excitement (in her pink room with her pink slippers) for her daddy to come home for Christmas.

    I keep seeing that tonight we will find out who Red is. But, of course, if that happens I am positive we still will not find out what, when, where, or why.

    So, I've thought for a long time he is/was a Russian spy. Let's see if they turn that upside down. LOL!

    I say bring it on, and turn it upside down. I think we will be offered an option for who it might be, but he might not actually be who is offered up. Just speculating.
