Tuxie, It crossed my mind today about Liz being resuscitated by Aram. I was going to see how may times that has happened. We do not have many listed.
Liz in the box, the guy buried in refrigerator in The Courier, Liz with RR in Braxton, and the Dr. in Isabella Stone that Liz pulled out of the pool, Red in Cape May and Liz trying to revive the Russian guy are what come to mind. I know there are more.

I've updated the master list with Alter Ego's medical imagery: the pills Marcus and the Alter Egos planned to feed Tim and Samar's video of the physician or therapist talking about aphasia.

Tuxie, the list looks really great!!

I updated The Ethicist with the following medical imagery:
6.06 The Ethicist, Gerald Klepper, was a doctor called the Angel of Death for killing 17 of his patients. The Blacklister is on kidney dialysis and needs a transplant. Liz threatens to take his DNA to get a positive ID. Red is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. He switches Skittles candy for the pills of a patient from whom he needs info. The patient goes beserk and is given a medication injection with a syringe.

I said to myself that there is plenty to go under this section in this episode!

And the preview for next week starts with a guy in scrubs!

I saw that! I imagine due to the content there will be plenty of stuff to add next week.

I missed this post until now. Some of these I would describe as resuscitations. In Cape May, di you mean Red getting the water our of Katarina's lungs? And what do you mean by Liz trying to revive the Russian guy? What Russian guy and what episode? I can add the ones we don't have. When I started the list, I was looking for mainly hospital or doctor visits or medical tools. Then, as I got more input from you and others, I expanded it.

Sorry Tuxie, I meant that to say these not many. Yes, I was thinking about him getting the water out of her lungs. The Russian guy ... It is the episode where her and Tom are after the guy and he gets shot and Liz said he knows about her mother. Can't think of his name.

I think the Russian guy you are talking about was Andropov. That might be Karakurt episode. I'll check it tomorrow.

Yes, It was Leo Andropov, I think in was in the Tom C. episode.

Eastcoast - I added most of the resuscitation scenes you mentioned. As it turned out, Liz did not try to resuscitate Andropov in the Tom Connelly episode. She just put her hand on his chest and told him to hang on. Also, no CPR scene was shown with Liz and the wheelchair doctor in the Isabella Stone episode. Liz is only shown diving in the pool to get him out of the wheelchair.
I started thinking these CPR scenes and all the oxygen scenes all have to do with keeping someone alive or "breathing life" into somebody. I think they are metaphors for imposter Red breathing life into a dead man (real RR). Great repeated symoblic clue!

I'm glad you clarified that Tuxie, because I did not remember those things :-)
Didn't she put pressure on Ian Garvey's chest after he was shot?

Tatiana - Liz puts her hands on his chest. I personally can't tell if it's to put pressure on the wounds or just to emphasize the words, "You will not die." She does shake him in kind of a mean way.

I felt like she was putting pressure because she wanted answers, but she was not being as nice as she could.

That is a good idea! I like it.

In any case, the shaking isn't a good idea, if you're trying to stop someone from bleeding out.

Eastcoast - I added Aram trying to resuscitate Samar after her drowning in the van in 5.21 (Lawrence Dean Devlin).

Awesome Tuxie! As soon as that last episode opened we see all those pills on the guys nightstand. Medical reference as soon as it opens. Crazy.

I was looking at the upcoming cast and saw that there is a Dr. listed in episode 11,12 and13. I think almost every one has had a Dr. in it this season.

Yes Eastcoast, the doctors just keep on coming!
