According to the Blacklist Twitter account, Ryan Eggold was on the Today show this morning. I totally missed this and didn't see it on the Today published schedule. still trying to find video of it, will post if I do.
Edited: here it is, its with Kathie Lee- this is of Ryan discussing red wine brownies with Kathie Lee, and then sampling a brownie. I did not include the Miss Piggy interview. And no, Ryan does not discuss Redemption, but for those who can't get enough of Ryan, you will probably like it! LOL

Thanks for the link, lara1! I missed Ryan Eggold on Today this morning. I didn't see it listed in the guide earlier this week. Apparently he was cohosting with Kathie Lee Gifford on the 10am hour. I did see some video where they were interviewing Miss Piggy, but I don't know if he talked about Redemption at all. Maybe there will be more video posted somewhere.

Just adding here that apparently IMDB now has the Redemption pilot date as Feb 27, with the next ep March 6, both Mondays. That might mean that it will air during the BL spring hiatus. It would be good if NBC would come out and confirm their overall scheduling for the early New Year soon!

About an hour ago (Dec. 23/2016) I saw a Global TV promo for Blacklist:Redemption, featuring the two main leads - Ryan Eggold & Famke Janssen. They usually give specific dates for their fresh shows - but in this case they just said its coming soon in winter of 2017 - which according to the charts could be anywhere from Jan. 1st to March 21st.
I was really hoping for a mid January start but haven't got a clue now!
I'm sure the show-runners are still trying to figure out how these two shows will inter-twine, which stars will cross over freely and which ones won't.
It could get pretty complex if there's any major plot intersections though. immo

Hi BBB, in the US they have announced the start of Redemption as Feb 23 - and that it will take over the BL Thurs 10PM slot for 8 weeks. I believe that TBL then returns around Apr 20 with a two hour episode. So hopefully they will use the next 8 episodes of TBL from Jan 5 to effect a good transition for Redemption. I actually happened to catch some of the filming of Redemption in NYC this past week and what I saw of it looked good, in my opinion.
That discussion is on here somewhere along with other info, but I can't find where it went to! Also, Honey West started a Redemption discussion page under "General Discussion: which you may like too

Any reports as what they were filming Lara - or who were in the scenes. Generally, the important scenes are done via interiors - background and mood shots done via exteriors!

Hi BBB, they were filming in Washington Square Park with Ryan and the actor who is playing "Howard". They filmed at least three scenes there, and I understood that there was interior scenes shot as well but I don't know where nor who was in those. If you are interested, there are a lot of spoiler photos on Aly Blacklists's new Blacklist-Redemption blog, under the "spoilers" link. The link to Aly's blog is the one I put in comment 1 at the top of the page.
