Sutton Ross
Liz and Red face off in a climactic race to find a Blacklister in possession of the duffel bag of bones, forcing the truth about the bones to finally come to light.

Eastcoast - thanks for this! So we finally get the answer at the "Nth" moment!

I meant to tell you that was on tvcountdown

I googled Sutton Ross and came up with an obituary for a beautiful little girl named Kennedy Sutton Ross, who died from a brain tumor at 2 1/2 years old. Just this past January. It's strange, I would think they would take more care to make sure the names they chose weren't too close to someone in real life :-(

That is sad. There have been a few of those over the years I have seen. It is probably hard to do with there being so many people out there.
I was going to say that we have another Sutton, I was thinking of Asher Sutton.
Naturally we are being made to wait until the world's last minute.
So it sounds like Red didn't get to interrupt the auction in 5.21 by the sounds of this episode. It is definitely intriguing that these bones are able to be auctioned off and cared about so much by other people. What is their value to the world?

Whose bones would be that important? Jimmy Hoffa's bones were never found... hmmm. The Princess Maria (Masha) or the Prince Alexei of the Romonov family? Amelia Earhardt?

I don't think the bones belong to anyone famous. I think the bones are only important as they connect to Red. People who hate Red would be willing to have something that would destroy him. This is an underground auction, like the T. Earl King event, and the bidders are likely criminals.
Remember what Red told Tom:
"You asked Nik to identify the bones, and he was killed for his trouble by someone who knows their identity, and therefore their value. That killer is likely searching for a way to contact me since, knowing their value, he knows they are most valuable to me.
I can't see how the bones are anyone other than the real Raymond Reddington or the real Carla Reddington.

That line made me wonder if Nik could have put it together too? But I am not certain that he ever found out.

I wonder if the guy from Johannesburg will bid. He never did get Red's head in a bag/box (Tuxie, maybe for your body parts list?) The bones are in a way another price on Red's head.

I was thinking that he will have to find a new guy to send for the bid since Liz shot the last one!
It would be interesting if the man himself showed up. Maybe that is who Ross is?
The pictures posted for the finale look interesting. Cooper's in the field with his gun. Liz is beat up, looks like she has her arms secured behind her back and she has been crying, and Red is zip tied to a chair. Looks interesting.

Brittany, those pics do look like things get grim as usual. The one thing that bothers me is I do not see Samar in those pics...

Latest from Natalie Abrams at EW.
Big game changing reveal according to Jon Bokenkamp. Been alluded to the whole time and will change the show’s direction going forward.

"James Spader has two years left on his Blacklist deal, with the Sony drama expected to return and possibly be packaged with L.A.'s Finest, which also hails from the independent studio."

I saw these and thought I hope they don't drag this out another 2 years. lol One more year is going to be hard enough.
When JB says they are going to change direction we know he means that. I hate seeing any character killed off. But things do not look so good for Samar. I still do not see her in any of the pics for the last episode.
Just a few more episodes!!!
I keep hoping part of the 'change in direction' is the whole Task Force going rogue. Like that CIA group in Ilyas Surkov, except bringing down Blacklisters versus becoming one. I don't know why, but I love the idea of them all living off the grid/off the legit path as a team. Red has a plane, so no need to worry about travel issues. And he has avoided law enforcement for nearly 30 years so he can teach them the ropes.
I was all worried about Aram but now I feel like I need to be worried about Samar. Mozhan was very quiet on social media during the filming of the last two episodes.

I've been hoping for a similar twist as well for a long time. It would be a little like Person of Interest, only with the Cabal taking over the role of Samaritan.

With Amir's active acting life, I wondered if he might be next to go. We're all expecting Samar to die but what if it's Aram who dies trying to save Samar?

I have seen that she has been quiet on there. There was one thing on that bothered me on Amir's instagram story. They were all clapping and then he came walking in and then it cut off.
I have tried to avoid thinking he could be the one or both could be killed off.
Going Rogue would be interesting. I could see that happening.
