Samar's abductor is also a famous character actor - last saw him in The Mentalist
Pruitt Taylor Vince . . . .

All this interest in Naomi Hyland...it's so intriguing!
This Blacklister storyline is pretty interesting. But how does it tie to Red? Or did he just do that for Liz's benefit to get her off his back so he can look for the suitcase without her watching him?

So, was Red telling jennifer the truth?
The story he told her is pretty much what I was expecting. I've always suspected he left them to protect them. But I do question what he said about the one person the KGB and CIA wanted. I think they were probably more after Katarina than him and he either got dragged into it by her or was afraid she would turn on him. But maybe they were after him. I'm open to either idea.

I can understand why the CIA would be looking for RR. But why the KGB. On the other hand, we know both angencies were looking for Katarina.

Welcome Coco!
Well there's plenty of both medical imagery and fire imagery in this episode. I can believe they were going to burn that little girl.
Welcome Coco!
Oh my gosh!!! Naomi's dead???? And murdered. Even worse.
Aw, and she's the one who left. Not the other way around. How sad for her. No wonder Jennifer is so miserable.

HA! I suspected he was playing her.
That was an excellent episode. I was not expecting Naomi to be dead. It looked like her headstone said 2017. Could her murder be connected the bones being unearthed/Kaplan's plans? Or was it random? I wonder if Red will look into it or if he already suspects who did it.

So hard to believe that Naomi was so terrified of Red, that did seem to be the case when they parted.

Oops - meant it did not seem to be the case

It was a shock that Naomi was in the cemetery. But I can't buy that Red is the real RR. He showed absolutely no emotion with Jennifer, and not much other than surprise over Naomi being dead. He talked to Jennifer politely - just like he talks to any other person he's trying to get information from. I'm more convinced than ever that RR is an imposter.

I did really enjoy the Blacklist story - even if it was mainly to keep Liz occupied while Red looked for the bones.

Agreed.
It gives more weight to this Red's comment to Dom, "I'm sorry I'm not the person you wanted me to be"

Coco - You're right. Naomi didn't seem the least bit afraid of Red back in Season 2.
Brittany - It was surprising that Naomi was the one who told Jennifer to cut ties with her so RR couldn't find her.
