That''s interesting that you have that perspective of her, Tuxie. I'm quite the opposite. I like that she's this 'normal' person, working in a bar, not glamorous, not super successful. Even with Garvey's help getting new ID, she probably has to lay low, not wanting anyone to look too deeply into her background. This normalcy made me think back to when Red was telling Liz in Luther Braxton about how he used to have a normal life of play dates and bills and family and friends. She's a normal person. She wasn't raised by a grifter with no idea who her parents were or why they left her and missing parts of her memory. She knew her father, had her mother, maybe some idea of why he left her. And I actually saw that scene with the drunk guy as a reflection of Red. Taking pity on someone who she could have callously kicked out, not caring what happened to him. But he's clearly a regular, she cared to call him a cab and covered his fare until he sobered up. It also seemed like something Liz would do.

Not sure yet what I think of Jennifer. but she wasn't what I was expecting.
I do think that we do not have her full story yet.

Lilly/Jennifer is Liz's shadow figure. I can imagine, from her disposition and the way she carries herself, that she's the depressive, quiet, darting eyes type. Liz is the opposite.
Odette and Odile.
I like this idea!

I've got to go to bed in a minute, so I'll keep this short.
I wrote a new idea about the bones on that thread.
Lastly, I really liked how Dembe opened the elevator with a crow bar and saved all of the men. For
a moment, I saw him as a fire fighter and not an actor. I'm sure he does drills like that in real life. That was really cool!

Tuxie400 - I didn't see any Red traits in Jennifer either. Then, I wouldn't if Red is not the real RR. And I think a lot of what we are seeing in Liz is KR. But who knows LOL.

OMG! 'Jennifer Reddington' is BRAD Dourif's ('Chucky', 'Grima Wormtongue', 'Billy Bibbit', et cetera) daughter!
Overall I thought her demeanor reflected a lot of Carla. Bitter, disillusioned, suspicious. Her posture and the way she held herself around Liz. I’m eager to see more of her and learn more about her.

That was my impression as well. She even talked like Carla/Naomi.

Yay Dembe! He really didn't have to save those other guys with Mosadek. Even Ressler told him to leave them. I too think his job as a firefighter was bleeding through there.

Brittany - its interesting that Red can find anyone he wants except Jennifer. not even with Glenn on the case!
I think Garvey hid Jennifer too well for Red to find her. And maybe she had plastic surgery too. LOL Remember, Glenn found Zoe by aging her photo and comparing it to driver's license photos.

I need to re-watch. Carla did do a lot of skulking around.
Tuxie400 - plastic surgery, LOL. possible. IDK. still have a lot of question marks over Jennifer.

I knew it!!!! Garvey, Witsec and Jennifer are all tied together. Now we just need to know how the bones fit into this part of the story.
And, yes, I felt that Jennifer was a lot like Naomi. So maybe she does take after her mother. After all, Red "abandoned" her at a young age. She would have been six or seven when the fire happened. Did she tell Liz that she was in Witsec to be protected from her father? Maybe that’s where Kirk’s comment about hurting his daughter comes from? Whatever happened back then those Reddington’s were one messed up family!

I was thinking about the Kirk comment and how it might fit into this.
I did think she was a lot like Carla/Naomi.

Aram said she was in Va. a few years ago. Wouldn't that be just before the witness list was stolen? Maybe Garvey moved her again after that.
Was also thinking that I doubt Garvey had ever been a clean cop. Maybe he had something to do with setting him up with the Cabal? He has been knee deep in this since the beginning! That is why he said to him, you have no idea who I am do you?
I still wonder about the story of something happening to his family? I had said a while back that maybe they were put into WItsec before he was coming home for xmass eve and they set him up.

Very possible about Witsec happening before Red came home for Christmas. That’s an interesting thought, Eastcoast. I’ll have to think about that one.

Seems to be parallels between Jennifer and Zoe regarding their relationships with their fathers and their escape/hiding out lives.

Another parallel from this episode that I found interesting is that Garvey met Jennifer at a café like Red met Zoe at a coffee stand back in season 2.
The Zarak Mosadek storyline also contained many parallels to previous seasons: abducting a high-ranking official to get to another blacklister (The Major), trapping a high-ranking official in an elevator (The Decembrist), a shoot-out in a church (Mr. Solomon), sabotaging an elevator (The Director: Conclusion/The Forecaster), a blacklister whose child is kidnapped (The Caretaker), a blacklister with ties to the CIA (Esteban). Zarak Mosadek is also like Garvey and Red and even Sharon Fulton in a way: working in law enforcement while actually being a drug dealer/criminal himself.
I noticed that Aram mentioned that Jennifer/Lilly has only been working at the bar for the past two years. Before that she was living in Virginia. Why did she move? Was is just her own choice or did Garvey move her? Liz keeps saying Tom died last year, but I imagine it must be closer to the 18 months-2 year mark at this point because she spent the first ten months in a coma and seemingly a few months away in Alaska (not counting time she spent recovering between waking up and leaving and time since she has been back). 2 years ago (which in terms of speaking in estimations could be anywhere from a little less than two years to almost three years) would have been anywhere between the time Liz and Red were on the run in season 3A until close to the time when Garvey learned about the bones. It may not mean anything. It just got me thinking. If Garvey chose to move her, it could have been precipitated by any number of things during that time.

Those are all great parallels. With the one Brittany mentioned - Aram's bicycle acting being like Philomena's with Marvin Gerard's sister and the parallel of Jennifer and Zoe - this episode was jam-packed with parallels.
