Re: Episode 5.20

I just had a thought. How do we know this in present time? Jennifer could still be the bones if these scenes are flashbacks to before Red entered Liz's life. I doubt that they are, but who knows?

Tuxie, I missed your comment on Rederina.  Yes, I suppose that's true also.  Well it would be good to eliminate one theory --- there are so many others to obsess over! LOL. Then again if KR is supposed to "be" Red and Jennifer contacts him, he/she would have to keep up the pretext.  Although if "Red" reveals a lot of knowledge about Jennifer, it would appear to rule it out.

That's what I meant by we'll have to see how it plays out. Not only how what Red says to her will be telling, but also the level of emotion.

Re: Episode 5.20

I just went back and looked at the sheet and it says 'red gets a call' from her. So I am guessing she gets ahold of him. But who knows...

Yes, agree.  though we don't know what happens before that.  Red could have contacted her, and these are the group of scenes where they finally speak.

though it raises a good question - how would she know how to contact him?  Unless she does get that info from Naomi for some reason.  Still, it begs the question of why she would want to contact him now after all this time.  Hasn't seen him since she was a child, ran away as soon as she could so she would never see him.....

Re: Episode 5.20

I'm wondering if Jennifer is connected to Garvey somehow,or if she is a totally separate storyline.

First thing I thought of. I'm looking forward to meeting her, but there's probably a bounty on her head too.

Re: Episode 5.20

Hmmm, I wonder if she is in cahoots with Garvey.  It will be Interesting to see how she fits into this, it sounds like she will be in at least 2 episodes.  Oh, and judging by the scene descriptions, it doesn't sound like Jennifer is Emma.  So maybe another idea we can eliminate, though I'm not sure many of us thought she was.  Still, anything we can eliminate from the constellation of theories is a plus!

Oh, and if Red's conversation parallels that with either Liz or Emma, I will be smiling.

Re: Episode 5.20

Aly has a source purporting to have inside info that says Jennifer is coming before the two parter. So info on the actress playing her should come for 5.19, if the anonymous source is legit.

Re: Episode 5.20

I had a thought.  What if she went to go see her mother and couldn't find her?  She knows Red was in the news so he is back around.  It probably isn't too hard to find out where Liz is because she has been in the news so much herself.  She might think he would know how to find her mother.

lara, I had a few reasons for thinking Emma was not her, one was because of how old her son looked.  I also would think Naomi would have mentioned a grandchild.

Brittany, it has been a few years and they could have reconnected. I was not 100% sure if Naomi was telling the truth to Red that she didn't know where she was.

Re: Episode 5.20

I was thinking about this a little bit more.  I wonder if the emergence of Jennifer is somehow to do with the bones.  And maybe they are the real Carla.  Tuxie400, I wonder if you have thought about this idea?

Re: Episode 5.20

I mentioned previously I thought the bones could be the real Carla. But I haven't had any more thoughts about that in connection with Jennifer.

Re: Episode 5.20

NancyJoCom on Tumblr posted a photo of a script cover for 5.20.  The Blacklister is Nicholas T. Moore #110. They also have a f/k/a (formerly known as?) Ambros Gwinnett Eustis (#110) underneath it so I don't know if that means the name changed during production or if that's part of the title.

It was written by JB and Lukas Reiter.  It's the one being directed by Solvan Naim and filming right now.

I noticed that Lukas Reiter was one of last nights co-writers.

Re: Episode 5.20

The script that was shown had the name James T Alfred on it, who played on Empire for a few episodes and I saw on his instagram that he was wearing a federal prison guard uniform, filmed at what looked like a federal prison, and he took pictures with both Smokey and Red on set.  That should be fun.

He has had a hand in several of the episodes since season 1 which is good!

Re: Episode 5.20

Generally JB writes the mythology stories so maybe we get the bones reveal in this one. That is what probably lights the fuse for the finale.

You know, I wonder if when Jennifer disappeared it was at Garvey's behest. Maybe she ran away with him? As what to him, who knows. Maybe she did it because she knew Red would be coming for her soon, and he helped her to get away.
