Someone voted for Anthony the mailman. I'd love to know what that person loves about Anthony. Maybe he/she felt sorry for him because Brittany and I said he was our least favorite. What I do like about Anthony is that he's a small-time operator who's drawn into Red's orbit and is ill-prepared for it. While he can be feisty with Red, he's totally fearful of other criminals.

I´m one of those who voted for him. What I really like about Anthony is that he can really mess things up big deal while Red is still willing to help him. In a way he is the opposite of the other members of Red´s team who come in to help Red and his dynamic works really well to me. I liked both of his storylines (although his introduction was a lot of coincidence), while I often feel like many of the other characters are only there without being essential to the plot. It's not that I mind Earl Fagen (I actually like the character) but to me he is not essential in fixing the tax issue. Smokey Putnum is another character which I really like, but his presence in the latest episode was underwhelming to me.

Hi Yeti! Thanks for weighing in on Anthony. I agree that Smokey is a likeable character. I actually enjoyed him quite a bit in the last episode. The way he was nervously squeezing that dog toy, worrying and whining was priceless. He would be my third favorite of the new team members..

Re: Favorite New Member of Red's Team

I see I forgot to mention Anthony!  I look at him as small time and a bit big time.  He kind of stumbles into things by accident and thank goodness he has Red now to help him out of that.
Although he is a Crook he seams to be a bit of redeemable at times to me.  I do not think he wants to hurt anyone.  He was just grabbing a few things here and there from those he felt could afford it.  Now that he is giving Red a list of vacant houses I am waiting for someone to have cameras rolling and get caught.
I say Small time on a scale compared to Red, a bit Big time because these are Federal offences he could go to jail for a very long time.
