Tuxie400 - I also thought the critter cabin thing was weak, but I think it gave us a clue. Red wanted skeletons of animals, to make it "look like" they would have died in the fire. And Smokey brought them, in a black duffel bag. So I think there's a parallel in there somewhere....
lara1 - I did pick up on those things. But it doesn't make me care about them.

Has anyone looked at the Canadian promo for next week on Aly’s page? Garvey says “you have no idea who I am” and then something “I want the truth”??? I can’t quite understand what he says leading up to “the truth”.
Brittany, I think he says, you have no idea who I am, or why I want the truth.
interesting. why wouldn't Red know. I sense a twist coming up

We were about 101% spot on predicting Norm Singleton's demise (thank u Garvey for revealing it) before you stabbed the crap outta the guy.
Profiler Liz picks up on Garvey's voice and does the instant profile. Obviously, she won't assassinate Ian on the spot - whether she's restrained by Harold - or other circumstances intervene!

Tuxie400 - I get what you are saying. For me, the story moved quickly, but it was not rich or deep enough. I think it was just to set up the next ep, which is going to have a cliffhanger of sorts. Just my thoughts.

BBB - Garvey is very fond of his Damascus, isn't he.

Well I really liked the episode but I have to say the reason for the fire was a bit underwhelming. although it does seem that Red may have another fire in mind.
..I really think that's true. There's going to a big fire and it's going to burn down the house. I still toy with the idea that he's going to set up a doppelganger for Liz so she can kill Garvey and they're going to cover up the cause of death by a fire.
Hey Tatiana, what house do you think he's going to burn down? just curious. I think whatever happens, may be a parallel to "the fire".....
No idea really... and after seeing the previews, it sounds like Garvey wants to know the 'truth'; Red wants to know what he needs to give him to pay him off; Garvey says he wants Keen.
Are the bones more important than his 'daughter'?

Tatiana, yeah, I'm confused by the Keen part, because he didn't even know who she was nor did he care about her - he asked his goons to kill her.
Maybe since he has found out who she is, her connections and so she has become more valuable for some reason?? Or just a bargaining chip with Red. Not sure....

I think I expected a little more ka-pow!

Yes, Eastcoast! Where was the ka-pow?

So I am wondering since Garvey said he wanted the truth that he knew the person the bones belong to and wants answers. I guess he had the DNA in the data bank waiting for a hit? And who does he know that Tom would connect things to?

although I really did like all of Red's interactions.

Liz looking ALOT like KR in these scenes IMO
I agree. The way they are doing her hair is making her look more like her mother. And like you mentioned, she's much leaner this year, a lot like Lotte Verbeek.
Lean, check.
doing hair like mom, check.
trying to do the makeup to make her look more like mom, check.
We need some hair dye in there for me! lol

Of all Red's scenes, I enjoyed his bedside chat with Singleton the most. I very much like Fagen, and the actor who plays him. The thing I liked most about the episode was that Heddie was at home with an allergy attack, and I didn't have to see her. Can you guys tell I feel really tired and crabby tonight?
Perhaps Garvey is linked to KR somehow? Remember Dom saying people would do anything to keep what happened to KR a secret? Maybe Garvey wants to know and Red will do whatever?

The most righteous demise for Mssr. Garvey would be dying by his own sword - Liz would do the most torqueing and twisting - Tom would have been a close 2nd - Red or Dembe tied for 3rd
Only question - does Garvey last 1 more episode? Or 2?

Lol! I wish Heddie had been there instead of Smokey. As much as I like him he felt underutilized in this episode. Her freak out would have been better.

My money is on Garvey lasting until the finale.
He has been spotted in filming very recently so he lasts through the hiatus. I figure he’s going to die in the finale.
They keep promising a big cliffhanger. Perhaps Garvey IS Katarina! lol (I'll see myself out)

I think Smokey had to be there to retrieve the animal skeletons that would ensure that it looked like animals actually died in the fire. So, of the two of them, he was more important to the plot line. Heddie would not have done that.
I agree she would have freaked out more but I don't like listining to her. LOL
