Stellar episode. That last part about Zig Ziglar was right out of James Spader's late night interview!

Yes! I immediately thought about that.

I've actually thought Red could have been in an induced coma because of the burns. But there could have been other injuries.
That was a terrific episode. Next week can't get here fast enough (and the next 3 weeks will obviously creep by). Of course Red won't betray Liz. He will probably make it look like he does, but he won't. She's the whole reason he does everything.

So Red and Garvey meet up at last. I can't wait.
Perhaps Red fakes Liz's death for Garvey's sake??? I'm sure next week will be amazing since it will be the last before another hiatus.
I was kind of guessing at how he would use Mr. Sinclair III the doppelganger specialist and Fagan the arsonist....

Tuxie400 - there's the possibility that something fell on him, or he was thrown because of an explosion caused by the fire. Just an idea.

I've wondered that in the past as well, Tuxie. If he had been shot and was burned badly, they could have put him into a short coma to do some immediately recovery. Or perhaps he wasn't shot, but hit his head similarly to how Liz did?

Oh Norman Singleton, we hardly knew you. But we all suspected you weren't long for this world.

Liz has had her death faked too many times for me. Now, faking someone else's death (like Red's) might be interesting.

I'm surprised some of you thought this was a stellar episode. I would call it a disappointing filler episode - the weakest of the season. Other than Singleton's murder and Liz identifiying Damascus to Harold, it held nothing interesting for me. I calls 'em as I sees 'em.

I agree. But the writers seem to love faking Liz's death so I wouldn't put it past them. I'd rather see someone else's death faked, like Red's or Garvey's (so that Liz thinks he's dead and backs off trying to figure out Red's secret).

Oh man. I thought it was really good. If I'm calling anything the weakest episode, I'd go with Ilyas Surkov. That was probably my least favorite of this season.

Well I really liked the episode but I have to say the reason for the fire was a bit underwhelming. although it does seem that Red may have another fire in mind.
..
I really think that's true. There's going to a big fire and it's going to burn down the house. I still toy with the idea that he's going to set up a doppelganger for Liz so she can kill Garvey and they're going to cover up the cause of death by a fire.

That last time we saw this many cemetery scenes, Liz's death was faked. So I predict someone's death will be faked, and I think it most likely will be Red's.

Hey Tatiana, what house do you think he's going to burn down? just curious. I think whatever happens, may be a parallel to "the fire".....

Brittany - I thought the Ilyas Surkov episode likely had parallels that will come into play when we know Red's backstory. Nik's funeral in IS was a lot more interesting than this cemetery scene. The whole Critter Cabin audit was ludicrous and I took no joy from Aram being in the field in this one.

Yes, it seems like they go back to the cemetery every episode. LOL. probably not that often, but seems like it.
wasn't the scene with Red and Sinclair last time - wasn't that filmed in a mausoleum? I couldn't quite make it out, but there were stone structures with entranceways, and a different name over each, in different styles of lettering etc. Maybe that's a clue that Sinclair will find a double for Red.
(In my theory world, that should not be hard, LOL)
Has anyone looked at the Canadian promo for next week on Aly’s page? Garvey says “you have no idea who I am” and then something “I want the truth”??? I can’t quite understand what he says leading up to “the truth”.

Tuxie400 - I also thought the critter cabin thing was weak, but I think it gave us a clue. Red wanted skeletons of animals, to make it "look like" they would have died in the fire. And Smokey brought them, in a black duffel bag. So I think there's a parallel in there somewhere....

I thought the scene with Sinclair and Red was in a tunnel, but maybe it was a mausoleum.
Maybe my expectations for this episode were too high coming off last week's, which had so much rich material. I had such high hopes for the scenes with Aram and Smokey, but for me they didn't deliver.
