That makes sense. I mentioned a locket in connection with Oliver Twist: Tom as the artful doger, a character named Fagen, and Red's using a network of street people as spies. The locket, which belonged to Oliver Twist's mother, solved the mystery of his family at the end of the story.
ah yes, Oliver Twist. interesting parallels.

Oh dear, another 70s/80s old technology, the polaroid. I should really start a list. I think I said I would but haven't, LOL. So the Stewmaker did take polaroids, but continues to do so. And Berlin used it for Naomi, didn't he. AT least I think he did. in any event its interesting.

Yes, the Polaroids would fall right in that time period. You could compile quite a list.

Yep! Berlin used a Polarloid. In fact, I just watched that episode and thought to myself, where on earth did they get a working Polaroid?

I have several polaroid cameras.... 4 or 5 of them.
They still sell them. Some of them are very close in resemblance to the older ones, but some are cute and colorful.

Yes, they can still be found. Though not the popular way to take photos that they once were, phone photos are the new instant. So I still think its fair to say, its a throwback to the past.

Yes, they are a throwback to the past for sure.
I happened to collect cameras for a while which is why I have mine. I have the first one i ever had plus a few others. I have one from the 60's still in the box with all the paper work that came with it.
What i always find interesting about them when they were being phased out is it seams like they are used by people such as Berlin who don't want to be traced.
