Hmmmm. I have to say its sounding more and more like Kaplan.....though I don't like that.

Sounds like it has to be a very close associate to have the bank details and the funds to hire Stone....

Could Dembe be involved? The last camera shot was a pan in his direction. But Kaplan would certainly have access to his funds.

But then again, how could Kaplan (or Isabella) know about Natalie Luca - Red didn't seem to know her.

The only other option I see is someone in Red's organization was threatened - like Newton Phillips was, maybe?

Elise (err Janet) aka Annie Heise didn't have a lot of lines tonite but she sure made an impact . . .

Lady has attitude - show-runners would be foolish not to use her either on Redemption or TBL
Attitude - and she can act! Not hard to look at either!
Also gives Samar another female to butt heads with - Samar is totally soft on Liz; needs a nemesis she can actually work with - and compete for Aram's heart.

LD Jones - yeah I noticed that too. Plus he gave Red a "look" in an earlier scene.

But I don't want to believe that it's him....

Now that was a blast!

So much going on all at once, but it was like five hanging threads woven together to this spectacular episode. Great one liners. Lara - yes the cuckoo clocks!!! And how many Blacklisters were in that one episode???

I loved the way they finished it up with Mr. Banker-man telling Red these things were ordered by Raymond Reddington.

Ok, who else besides Mr. Kaplan knows everything about Red? Is it possible Marvin Gerard, atty, has anything to do with it? Despite the fact that Mr. Kaplan had part of her skull shot off by Red, it doesn't seem like she would be someone to take down Red like that. Is there anyone else we are missing? Dembe, Baz, Mr. Kaplan, Marvin, who else are his close associates who would know everything about him?

Tatiana - hmmm need to think through on that. The "Reddington ordering Reddington" makes me think of a ghost spooking Red, so Kaplan. I really don't want it to be her, though, for several reasons. Maybe someone else Red thought he'd killed or neutralized but who is still around. Have to think.

Red doesn't seem to know, which again points to Kaplan. I'll be very disappointed if it does turn out to be her, but I'll roll with it. Will give it some more thought.

And doesn't Dembe have POA for Red's funds? I don't think it can be him, though. I think that would be the end of the character.....

Outside of RED, an Aram-heavy ep always works for me! Loved his response about how 'well' his last undercover gig went. As for me, I don't know why Elisejanet reminded me of Liz a la the Harem... or Janeane Garofolo.

And Dembe - Italian. Well, there was a girl, so that explains it! ;-)

I went down the list of the Blacklisters and nothing popped out in terms of those who got away or that Red double-crossed.

The only other thing I can think about is that someone else hired Halycon and they've been somehow able to hack into all of the money trail.

Lara - yes, Dembe has POA. I jusr reread some scripts with Mr. Kaplan and Red interactions and there's no doubt Mr. Kaplan knows every detail of his life and has access to everything.

the cuckoo clock might be another tie in with Kaplan since we saw it in little Niko's office in Mato.
There was one again in the episode tonight and I thought I'd seen one or two in other episodes since Mato.

I'm also wondering if the cuckoo clock is some sort of secret inside joke!

Iowa Watcher - yes it could be Katarina. she'd have to buy someone in Red's organization to get access to the info needed; or cite Halcyon. I think we may get a very strong clue next week with the double episode with Tom going off to Redemption, too (if Halycon is involved at all).

With Kaplan, I'm not sure how she would be able to assemble a "dossier" on her own....I don't think she would have account numbers, names etc stored anywhere. And she'd need the ability to physically assemble the file. Unless she had help from someone else on the inside. Very intriguing!

Who are the suspects? If it seems like a ghost is behind the attack on Red, it must be Kaplan. But I don't think she would ever poison Red. Maybe she is being forced to do this. We know Marvin Gerard is in the next episode, but does he know how to get into Red's accounts? Dembe is too loyal to Red to really hurt him or his associates.

BBB - Elise not only was wearing Liz's disguise glasses, she was no longer a blonde. As a glasses-wearing brunette, she seemed more like a nerdy hacker.

lara1 - I missed all the cuckoo clocks. Who had one?

Great episode with a lot of storylines going on at once! I loved the Aram storyline, and we got Ressler back on the Laurel Hitchins trail. Red's icy interrogation was chilling, and Tom's search for his truth was captivating.

haha! yes, could be. I also thought through some of Spader's other roles as that kind of joke but didn't recall anything with a cuckoo clock. It is kind of a fun thing!
