Well, have fun you all! I will be back online after 11 PM PST!

OK I just got confused. I thought the message to Red from Abe last time was that Smoll's "missus" said he died of a heart attack. So this is the same guy who died from meningitis in a massage parlor?
So is 'the missus" code of some sort. Or did I get that completely wrong?

That needle - gross!

Lots of needles lately!

Dembe playing with Agnes! Awww

So much for Red staying away from Liz and Tom's apartment!

interesting. so the missing funds and lost accountant done by another person......a Person of Interest. (ha BBB)

So the fake Hazmat team are the real crooks. Wonder who they are?

Other than a handful of Red's lines this might have been the weakest TBL in years, maybe worst ever. Writing was horrid. I did like the guy who played Malik and the title character girl was surprisingly strong and committed to an idiotic role. Thought James Corden was gonna pop out of the woodwork and get everyone in an episode of "Karaoke Kab".
Really miss Liz having a stronger story-line and the absence of Mr. Kaplan is showing.
Red's encounter with the other super-criminal was rather loose, shall we say!

ok, so the next mystery is why is Isabella Stone after Red? And who is she?

Great close to the episode. Remind me - "Who's Isabella Stone?"

BBB - I think this was written by an assistant to one of the producers. Not sure if its the first episode the person has written. It was interesting enough and moved the story along, but i agree it didn't really pack any punches. Still, I think some mythology clues were dropped in, I took some notes and need to re-watch some parts of it.

So Isabella Stone is a character assassin. And her next victim is Raymond Reddington.
Isabella is a derivation/form of Elizabeth. They must love that name, huh?
How did that $200M get diverted and to where? Did Isabella do it?
And where is Mr. Kaplan? Somehow and somewhere she is getting better and she's digging her way back. My husband and I still think she is far too important in Red's life to not make a significant come back somehow. He's really lost without here.

Invariably, your game notes will probably be stronger than the episode Lara!
The writer was obviously familiar with TBL mythology but certainly not character development or sparkling dialog! Spader made the most of weak dialog, I do believe! Of course, Spader could read a Chinese phone book and make it sound interesting!!!

Tatiana - yes, another character named Elizabeth!
For me its not clear yet whether Isabella Stone actually diverted the funds and/or stole them, or whether she just got Natalie to kill Red's accountant. I'm still trying to work out what all the dialogue about Smoll's "missus" was about in the last episode. A codeword/phrase perhaps.
I think Kaplan is going to come back at the very end in a grand fashion. Just my thought.
I need to re-watch Red's speech at the end, with the Japan reference (a tie in also to Mako Tanida, and his words to Donald?). Did anyone notice that the music that was playing during that speech sounded like the music that played in Cape May, I think when he was in the car being driven to Cape May.....?
Also interesting choice of piano music for the serious scenes for the ill-fated lovers, including the death scene. Was appropriate, but it was, or sounded like, solo piano playing....

BBB #14 - LOL! but i agree....

But I must say I am intrigued by who Isabella Stone is or how Red knows her. He was upset enough at the news that she was behind Smoll's death, that he could not stand up.....

Isabella Stone could be another made-up acronym in a series of made up acronyms!

Post episode thoughts:
I found it interesting Tom was willing to play the Edgar Legatt part for Reddington. He likes going undercover.
It was fun to see the CDC Irish woman again. That takes us right back to Season 1 when she appeared in two different episodes.
Samar is such a sucker for romance. I enjoyed her scenes with Aram, especially the last one.
I wonder if Isabella Stone is one of Red's old girlfriends. He was so thunderstruck by the news she had been behind the accountant's death he needed some time to process it. I think she will be the parallel for Madeleine Pratt,

Tuxie400 - I like your thoughts on Isabella Stone! I wonder if he left her in Florence as well!
I also liked seeing the CDC woman again. Another link back to Season 1
I do think its interesting how they planted some pretty firm seeds for how Tom is going to leave for Redemption. It was subtle, but firm, IMO of course. Like who Tom really is, he still is, and it feels like there is a wedge there that will grow wider. It reminded me of Season 1 also when Liz had conversations with Tom about how they were not working. She thought they were working but they were not., and she finally faced that - even before she knew who he really was (or rather, wasn't!) So now it feels again like what they have/had is slipping away, or at least is threatened.
I loved that scene with Dembe and Agnes!
