Re: TV Guide Interview 10/12/16 Jon Bokenkamp

Good article. And typical JB - he says a lot but nothing that will spill the beans about the storyline.

“I am exactly who I am. And I can assure you, I’m a far more interesting Raymond Reddington than Raymond Reddington ever was."

Good read! We did get a couple of morsels. Kaplan will not face Red in the foreseeable future. And her story with the creepy guy in the forest will play out over several episodes. I'm thinking it will be all the way through Episode 8. It's also interesting what Bokenkamp says about the journal:

"She's found her (mother's) journal, and read truths that were not fake, that are grounded in the mythology of the show."

I've been questioning whether the journal was faked, either by Kirk or by Katrina trying to mislead Kirk. I think this puts the end to my skepticism.

Good article.
Tuxie400 - ditto on the journal.  Interesting that Red doesn't really have a reaction to it.  Perhaps he already knows what it is or what is in it.  Or just not giving anything away.
Kirk telling Liz truths he "passionately believes in".  "Believes".

Disappointing to me about the painting though.  Red was clearly looking for and speaking about a woman who sent it.  And specifically said "Rostova".  Oh well.  Unless as others have previously suggested it was Scottie sending it on Kirk's behalf.

Tuxie400 (DZ), Yay! I was hoping that journal stuff was going with the older mythology. Cool.

lara1 - By the time I posted I forgot about what Jon said about the painting. He did confirm that Kirk sent it to Red as a warning. I don't know that I'm disappointed. But I really don't think viewers would figure that out on their own since it was sent by Rostova and not Rostov. And why include all the fire imagery if Rostov's just going to deny there was a fire?

Kodiak - It appears you were right about the journal. I think we're going to see Liz reading more entries in upcoming eps, so I'm more likely to trust it now. I still think it's crazy for a spy to keep a journal.

Ah, because there was a fire! We all know Kirk is a liar!

Kodiak #7 - Kirk:  liar, liar, pants on fire!  LOL sorry all, I just could not resist that! I will behave now.

So funny! Maybe someone wiped Constantin's memory too!
