Episode 9.15 - Andrew Kennison

It seems so early to start the thread but I know for our east coast viewers it’s almost showtime! Out here it’s still too early for dinner so I have no idea what my show snack will be!

See you all on the other side!

Thank you for the thread!

I'm eating a Klondike Bar. What do you have Iw?  Honeywest, I saw your jellybean comment.  I just love them.

It's a shame you have no crackers

HW: I love Jelly Belly candy! We can get it out here, but -- yes -- it's expensive. When I go to the gourmet candy store, about once a year, I usually get several different small bags, like the tropical flavors. Yum! Thanks for starting the thread.

Eastcoast: Yummy! A lot of ice cream is in short supply out here. My snack was a single slice of apple pie, no ice cream. I'm going to have to make a pint or two before long here at home.

Tonight's show: GREAT! FINALLY! But color me confused. So there's a higher power above the former NYC detective and his lawyer who ordered the guy/gal on the motorcycle to shoot them? I thought at first that Red had ordered that hit, but then I remembered that he said something about intercepting them in five minutes.

So maybe the Russian / Cabal / Whomever is back ? I can only hope that is so. :-)

A much improved show tonight. Very little Park and lots of movement on Harold's story arc.

I can't wax too poetic tonight . . . long week and I'm exhausted.

Re: Episode 9.15 - Andrew Kennison

Wow! I do need to rewatch before I write any more because I had to take a phone call right in the middle!

But I knew when I saw Lukas Reiter as the writer we were probably in for some progress with the story.

I vote for it being the Cabal. I had wondered if they were the ones who had Liz killed. Perfect revenge for that old business about the Fulcrum, ya know.

Last slice of Lemon Pie Crumble for desert tonite!
Back to TBL. One of the better shows in last 2 years. The Hunt for Red April (Liz's murderer) is rapidly losing tread.
Parking Park is a good move. She's only good in FULL PARK FURY mode!
Pretty obvious Harold's old pal helping him on the inside is the traitor who's letting everyone know whats happening - and when! I can't imagine it being Panabaker, but then the unimaginable often becomes reality in this superb series.

Re: Episode 9.15 - Andrew Kennison

Sounds like you all had some nice snacks! I was still trying to finish my dinner salad in between phone calls and trying to watch the show. It required paying attention as they were tossing in all kinds of tidbits of information. Like I said before - Lukas Reiter-penned episode, expect information!

I agree, BBB that Lou is probably the traitor or is working for the traitor. After all, by "fixing" Coopers gun, he made Cooper indebted to him and he could then keep stringing Cooper along. For what purpose? Well, maybe to be an "insider" in Cooper's task force without being too obvious. Then when all roads led to Kennison from both sides, well, that made me think that may have been the goal all along, since Red was also looking for Kennison, only from taking a different tack, of course. Red was right - Cooper should have come to him first. But at that time was Red ready? I would have to go back to the beginning of Cooper's story to see, but I kind of don't think Red was ready to get back into things yet. Although Cooper didn't say anything about that, so maybe I am remembering wrong?

Well, we do know the deep shadowy people are still out there, whether they are the actual Cabal or not. I keep thinking that when Red released the Fulcrum information it was all nearly 30 years out of date, so how much harm did it actually do by then? It maybe forced them back into the shadows a bit but I doubt it got rid of them. And I am sure Red knows that. His Map of Doom had an awful lot of colored dots all over it.

As a Jelly Belly side note, a good friend of mine was the company president and COO from 2000-2015 when he retired. Great guy. I always thought he had a sweet job! LOL!

Revised Vegas odds for who's the traitor inside the Task Force:

Lou - never trust guys named Lou - 90%
Panabaker - where's the accent Cynthia - 4%
Ressler - Donald is over-reformed - 2%
Someone else - 2%
Agent Furious - Alina Park 1%
Former Jelly Belly COO - 1%
