Thought I would start the thread while I was thinking about it.
So, in light of the season 10 renewal, I hope we are pretty much done with the two year gap stories and get back down to business!

I hope so, too! Thanks for starting the thread, HW.
Eastcoast, my treat is piece of strawberry cake roll, which I haven't seen in ages. The bakery at HyVee (grocery) made several kinds with different berries.
Will tonight's episode be worth the wait? Stay tuned.

Thanks for the post HW!
IW, I got a big bag of Carmel Creams! The strawberry cake roll sounds awesome!

Yum! Carmel creams are awesome!
And the episode wasn't bad, either. The case was clear and made sense. That was a nice twist with Aram's mentor. No drug stuff for Ressler (hope they are finished with that!) and nothing really awkward, except the last minute. I didn't quite follow the stuff with the tea (?) -- it seemed like the scene got cut off.
Glad Marvin was back. He's fun!

I always like it when we get Marvin Gerard. And it was a nice subplot with Aram and his mentor. Actually I liked the whole twist of The Seer being a deep cover agent.
Of course, it was all about Reddington protecting himself and his own interests.
I had a cup of hot cocoa with mini marshmallows for my treat. Been cold here the past couple of nights. I know you all will laugh when I say that we freak out over temps dropping into the upper 20's overnight! My birdbath was a mini ice rink! Normal overnights this time of the year are in the lower 40's. Of course we tied another weather record this month - zero rain for the month of February, normally one of our rainiest months of the year. Not looking good for wildfire season this year.

I thought this was a superb episode - - - - perhaps Top 10 in TBL lore. Addie Turtoro delivered her finest performance yet!
Bringing in Aram's mentor, Al Franken, Jr. was a delirious journey into Aram's complicated mind. The mentor's tormenting of Aram was delicious yet Aram hung in there toe to toe with the guy.
Don't think Dembe got one line of dialog, nor did Red's new protector/lover.
Agent Park was reduced to a few somewhat meaningful lines of dialog. Just about my limit for Park.
Tonite's guest stars were all tremendous in their own way. The guy who played The Seer was perhaps the best of a terrific lot. He prolly had the biggest acting load next to Red who continues to carry the show on his back.
Today I tried to arrive early enough at my favorite bakery to get a shot at their infamous "Cinammon Knots" but luck would have it - they were all sold out. Had to settle for my normal order of Miche Sourdough bread (sliced). I do like that bread, especially toasted with jam or cream cheese! Now I need Red's cut-off scene tea recipe!!!! lol

Actually, BBB, I think Dembe did have just about one line. Probably used up most of his dialogue for the whole season in his how-Dembe-joined-the-FBI episode.

Hot cocoa is wonderful! No, I'm not laughing at your temperatures. While 20 degrees feels like a heatwave when it's been -5 for awhile, it's an ice box to those used to warmer temperatures. Spring is on the way!
BB, I also liked that Agent Park didn't have much to say. I wish they would swap her out for a Russian spy.

Well IW, next week we should get back to normal morning lows in the 40's and maybe, just maybe, get some rain. Hope I didn't jinx it by typing the r-word! LOL!
It would be more interesting if Agent Park was a Russian spy. But I think they've gone too far into her background for them to do that at this point, unless she gets turned in an upcoming story or something. They will have plenty of time to do that if they wanted to.
