Yummy! Coconut cake is great! I had a piece of cherry pie.
I liked some of tonight's show. That was cool about the painting! On the other hand, I don't like seeing Dembe and Red on opposite sides.

We'll see where it goes. I wouldn't mind if they get rid of Agent Park.

Re: Episode 9.4, The Avenging Angel

Thanks again for starting the thread, Eastcoast! Five o'clock rolls around and I forget to do it. Even though I usually check the board every day to delete the bots that try to join. I had two yesterday!

I liked the episode. The story of the painting was good. That Avenging Angel woman had no redeeming characteristics. Once again Aram saves the day. I'm glad he is still a good character and I attribute a lot of that to the way Amir Arison portrays him. Ressler still has his issues and I bet that Park's condition will lead to a blacklister in the future. Red and Dembe - what happened to them? I guess we will find out eventually.

Re: Episode 9.4, The Avenging Angel

I was blind-sided by a couple things in tonite's episode. At least they put a wrap on Stacy Keach, I'm hopin'

Blind-sided by Red blowing away the glamorous Annabelle Sciorra (Avenging Angel) to get the heart for the innocent guy. Also didn't see Ressler using Park's urine to come off negative - and then Park coming out with a serious cancer indicator. Yikes.

Loved how Red's new protector had a brief but uncomfortable scene w/ Dembe entering the room.
Harold's "issues" starting to distract from the main plot. Nice to see his wife, though!

Who knows? The way its going Harold could soon be offering Red's new protector a slot in "FBI AGENT TRAINING SCHOOL"

Re: Episode 9.4, The Avenging Angel

Hi, it’s been quite a while since I’ve been on the board, so glad to see it still exists.

I actually liked this episode quite a bit. It gave most of the characters a decent amount of time for each of their stories. It also contained an interesting black lister.  I am though still having issues with Dembe being an FBI agent, and at cross purposes with Red.  One of the things I most enjoyed about the series was their camaraderie and dedication to each other.  In spite of that, I am feeling the show is gaining steam with this new direction of the series.  I hope it continues to improve and develop throughout this season.

Re: Episode 9.4, The Avenging Angel

Hi Justbecause, great to hear from you! Yes, we are still here. A little quieter as time has gone on, but still here.

I am liking the show's new direction, but then I always liked it when they had good blacklisters and the team was working through whatever issues they all were having at the time. I find Dembe working for the FBI to be an interesting plot line. He seems to be the conduit between Red and the Task Force that Liz used to be, except that he knows more about Red than Liz ever did, which creates a different type of tension between them. Red still talks to Cooper, but that is more of a continuation of their old relationship, with the extra issue of Agnes as an addition. But I see Dembe as working to do good to honor Elizabeth's memory and to continue to try to right wrongs in the world. I wonder what Dembe's family thinks of all of this? Or if they ever really knew everything that he used to do?
