I'm already in heat waiting for this 'explosive' episode of TBL.
Roast Chicken & a small side of cheese pizza is my means to an end tonite!!!

Neighbor shared homemade egg rolls and almond cookies, which I paired with some green tea. Yum! A treat for me because I don't make egg rolls at home and haven't been to a restaurant in ages, aside from the local cafe, where I buy coffee and muffins (I'm supporting a local business!)
Interesting show tonight! I need to re-watch it. Yes, it seemed like all the pieces where there, but they didn't get connected until the last few minutes. I'm not sure what the point of Red insisting that he wasn't Liz's father at the beginning was. Need to see that, again.
I hope everyone is well and that the incoming storm for those of you along the East Coast isn't too bad.
My area was -17 F (actual temp) on Sunday and -12 on Monday but we've since warmed up into the 20s. Central Iowa didn't have rolling blackouts or major problems. The mayors opened warming centers and the Iowa Food Pantry and Red Cross held several food and water distributions. There was help available to those who needed it: I didn't hear about anyone forced to sleep in their car. Western Iowa was harder hit with the rolling blackouts, but the national guard was on the scene with generators, and most towns had at least one warming center open (or multiple ones, like Sioux City). Things are pretty much back to normal today.

I agree, IW, need to watch again. They are starting to weave a bunch of threads that need to be sorted out a bit.
I think Reds statement to Dembe that he is not her father is pretty definitive, in case we forgot. LOL! I still think he could be related somehow, though, or someone very close to her family via Dom.
I worry about Cooper! He’s getting into some pretty deep stuff that normally gets people dead around there. And of course that’s what Sikorsky said in no uncertain terms. Will Red be able to simply eliminate him when the time comes? I think he could and would. Maybe Liz will save the day. Speaking of Liz, I’m just trying to figure out what she’s really up to. They are certainly setting something up.
Oh well, whatever they are doing it’s fun to see the characters doing something. And I wonder what service Park is going to end up having to do for Don Reddingtoni.

I'm definitely getting my trust back in this season. I enjoy how there is now a number of plot lines being threaded that have yet to be connected. It's also interesting how every character gets a role in this in one way or another.
There were some great moments in this episode. One of them is the irony of one of the most infamous assassins of this show being held gunpoint when walking out of the shower. The scene where the team tries to prevent a plane crash while there may still be another killer inside that same plane is one of the most tense moments the Blacklist has had, and it worked well for me.
All in all, a lot of storylines are being in progress and I'm excited to see where it's going. It looks like the next episode will be an intense one!

Red is not N-13... that would be Lieutenant Commander Tom Farrell...
And it will be him who may try to deliver the Cooper de grâce?

At least the directors/writers are giving Little Laura Sohn some extra time developing her mini-storyline as Agent Park. She's a nifty little mighty mite to be sure. Nobody (but Amy Acker) could replace Mozhan Marno but Sohn is giving it her best. Also allows Amir Arison to expand his bag of comedic, sardonic & emotional tricks as Aram while Ressler is currently in limbo, awaiting further instructions from Liz.
Cooper has suddenly become a more interesting character as he seems to be flying on his own now. Pennebaker was brilliant - even if she had zero face time on tonite's episode!
As an aside - I'd love to see Pannebaker & Red on a mission. The verbal artillery between those two would be priceless. If it can't be Red then its Pannabaker & Aram for the win!!!

Honey West - I do think Red's statement to Dembe about not being Liz's father was definitive. I suspect Sikorsky will order Red to kill Cooper, and Red will pass of the task to Park. In the end, I don't think Harold will die, but who knows?
I find most of what's transpired this season very frustrating. What hold does Sikorsky have over Red? Why are Liz's plots so darn complicated? I loved last week's episode because is was simple and easy to understand.

All good comments! It will be interesting to see what task Park has to do.
Eastcoast, I love Crispy Cream donuts but Dunkin donuts is a lot closer. I ate a chocolate one in your honor.

I love all kinds of donuts.
Thank you for thinking of me. That was so hard to eat that wasn't it? Lol. 🤣
I'm going to the bakery tomorrow. I've had my eye on a new coconut cream pie! The cream is stacked on it!!

Yeti, plots have been all over the place like an unplugged switchboard!
BBB, I had pizza tonight. I'm contemplating my dinner for tomorrow. Depends if I can that pie!
HW, I wonder how important Sikorsky is? I wonder if Red would take him out?
Tuxie, I think you nailed it. The plots for Liz do seam a bit over complicated.
I keep wondering what Park will have to do for Red. I do not remember him ever saying to anyone else that they may regret him helping them.

EC, I get the idea that Sikorsky is Red's superior or at least someone who can give Red orders, if he's not a superior. I just wonder what Sikorsky's relationship is with Townsend. Enemies, rivals, counterintelligence? Friends? LOL! And what color they are on the Map of Doom?
Judging by looks on Red's face (and JS's great subtle acting); I think he would like to take Sikorsky out, but doesn't dare. And he really doesn't like any of the threats to Liz or even Cooper. Plus, I suspect that even if he did take out Sikorsky, there would just be someone else to fill his role and Red wouldn't gain anything. As a good chess player, I'm sure Red has considered all of the possible moves.
