Here we go again.
IowaWatcher, whats on your snack list tonight?
I have Carrot cake from the bakery!

I love carrot cake! However, I made a half batch of chocolate chip cookies from scratch because we had a blizzard yesterday and I'm still shoveling.
Blacklist was good tonight! Liz is really building her team. I didn't understand the Russian agency symbol on the laptop at the end, though.

Sorry Rederina folks, the truth is that Cynthia Pannabaker is Dan Rather circa the 2000 US Presidential Election. Actually, Dan did pretty much use the 'shakier than cafeteria jello' and 'hotter than a Laredo parking lot' on Election Night.

LOL! I wondered where I had heard "shakier than cafeteria jello." Thanks!

Did I hear her say “Cape May Warbler”?

While I didn't like the first episodes of this season, I am starting to enjoy where the show is going now. The case of the week was nothing too special, but it's nice to see how the general plot is being built up. With some funny moments of Aram, this episode was really enjoyable.
I like how old characters are returning. The Freelancer (we finally learn his name) and Panabaker are obvious, but we also see Vlad Cvetko, who appeared once before in season 1. In the episode "Milton Bobbit", Red travelled to Haiti to meet him. Reddington offered to set him up with "a ravishing Dane who would adore you. She's slightly cross-eyed and there's something very hypnotic about her gaze."
Also, what's with the names this season? Last season there was Skip Sutherland, now we have Skip Hadley. Also we got another Jennifer with a (presumably) estranged father.

How funny!

My ears perked up like a cat's when I heard the bird watching lady say Cape May Warbler.

Yeti - I liked the previous episodes, but I thought this one was a real snoozer. An episode without Liz is very boring to me.
Names have always been repeated on this show. Nothin' new there.

Same! When the show turns Liz into a criminal mastermind, Dembe into a Greek orator and Red into a puzzled old fuddy-duddy . . . you know you got problems - not to mention the 3 Stooges in the Post Office
Even the exciting return of Deirdre Lovejoy's wonderful southern accent (as Cynthia Pannabaker) wasn't able to salvage an obvious "Bridge Episode".
I did pop at the end when Crusty Red rested his sorry body on the park bench and met up with none other than LaChanze. LaChanze first caught my eye when she was part of the brief arc on my favorite TV series of all-time, CBS's wonderful 'Person of Interest'. She's just so super cool.

Yes! And the ID in the Safe Deposit Box was the one he used in Cape May if I'm not mistaken.
So there were so many things going on in this episode.

Fresh cookies are always awesome!
I do not have all my thoughts together on this episode yet.

I need to do a rewatch. I just really missed having Liz in the episode.
I do have a question for you all. How did Liz know that thing was in the safe deposit box? I would think just him and Dembe knew.

Liz has really been screwing with Red's mind by trying to recruit almost all his known associates. The real 'cognitive dissonance' comes as Red knows this process is well underway - and the kicker is these criminal associates are quick to reveal to Red that Liz is doing same. Red is smart enough to realize a disclosure of an attempt to recruit may be a dodge - spewed out quickly in order to simply survive!

I figured Skip was her source.

That makes sense, Tuxie400. After all, if Skip was in line to take over Marvin's duties, he would need to know about such things. But didn't Red get that thumb drive from Sikorsky after Skip had flipped to Liz? I need to check on that, but I think she called him from her new jet before he showed up in Moscow. Then again, that could have been another thumb drive, because I got the idea that the one Sikorsky gave him was only the latest in a long line. So maybe that was a previous one?

Tuxie, I thought Skip was with Liz by the time Red got the drive?
HW, it could be the previous one. That would make sense.

Did Red know Skip had flipped his allegiance by the end of the episode? I can't remember. I onlly watch episodes one time now. We, the audience, know Skip is Team Liz, but does Red?

We all know Skip is a weasel. And for what its worth, weasels can flip allegiances an infinite number of times. So don't rule out that Skip's can may still be tied to Red.
